Wow aren’t those aircraft carriers short in length surely they can only have jets that land and take off vertically and helicopters,
The Aircraft are Catapulted off of Carriers, it's quite a sight, they are engines roaring and towed out in force...!!

Hey - my wife and I were on that sailing too. We were so lucky, have enough sunny days and escaping the brunt of that cyclone by going the westerly course. If you see videos from people sailing on the HAL ship that left around the same time, they had more bad weather days and lost ports than any cruiser could bear to stand.
