- While doing a screen test in the 1950s, Audrey Hepburn tells about her dancing to collect money for the Dutch resistance in 1944 WWII. This supports what biographer Barry Paris wrote in her biography (Barry Paris, Audrey Hepburn, New York: Putnam, 1996).

That smile. There will never be another like her.
That smile is victory. And that story makes her work for Unicef so much more wonderful. Already at a very young age, she had high ethics and much courage.
Could that face and smile be any Sweeter? Love Audrey :-) RIP
An amazing and brilliant thing that she did.Love this clip and that smile at the end there.
That always gives me chills in the end in such, great depth of what has been through, yet comes out on top beautifully
I'm in love
A true ally during the War.
WELL HER MOTHER WAS PRO-HITLER & HER FATHER WAS A NAZIS,SO SHE TRIED TO MAKE AMENDS.
She was born nearly 30 years before I was born...and she has been gone nearly another 30 years. I have yet to see another woman who has the same Elegance...Manners and Grace as Audrey Hepburn, also her Exquisite Beauty is unsurpassed...We Will Never See Her Like Again.
Read the book Dutch girl. What an incredible experience she had in Velp and Arnhem.
Our precious dutch darling angel and hero. ❤️🇱🇺🌷🌷🌷
