As Australian that went through extreme domestic violence myself and came out the other side, I am so glad Northlane made Alien ❤️. It’s the first time I’ve heard songs written from the perspective of the situation I grew up.
I'm actually pleasantly surprised how well these songs worked in acoustic form. Usually bands who try to take some of their songs that aren't particularly melodic/are heavy usually don't do a great job at translating it to acoustic. But this is very well done.
