She was not a famous singer in Korea until she sang this song in the TV program "I am a singer legend" in 2012.
But I knew her from 1999 and I really glad that many people started to know her.
I cannot forget the moment 08:24 that she sings over unbelievable high pitch which make listener astonished.

David Foster who wrote this song was so impressed with SoHyang when he saw this clip (someone said that Oprah Winfrey told him about it, which may or may not be true), he asked around who she was and actually invited her to join him at his concert in Tokyo, which she accepted. when the man who wrote the song approves, I guess she did justice to this song.
I believe So Hyang said it herself on a talk show interview. I believe it was one of the Christian shows she attends from time to time.
Actually, it was Whitney Houston's old manager who saw So Hyang's performance on CZcams, showed it to Oprah and she showed it to David Foster. Foster then got in contact with So Hyang and they arranged eight concerts together in Japan. It is all in an interview with So Hyang here on CZcams somewhere. Yes, when Whitney's manager and record producer are both crazy about you, then you MUST have talent!!!
