1937 A Cardiff wedding.m4v

A family wedding from 1937 at Grangetown, Cardiff with footage showing some of the traditions of the day. The cry of 'Out with the rusty iron' prompted the wedding party to throw coins to the children. This custom is called 'the wedding scramble' in Scotland but must have been a custom in Wales too.
