Gotta bookmark this video! Maybe these names will keep popping up in future stories? Maybe they've already been name dropped in past videos? Hmmm? Anyways, I love the map and how it's not yet complete. I feel for the cartographer too, map making is serious business. You gotta have all the details, new and old. Her main job obviously ties into gathering current info in order to touch up on the old documents and make they hold true. Ahh, wonderful! Keep up the great world building, Mira! I'd have never known how far we traveled if it weren't for this fantastic drawing!
This world grows ever bigger! I was so, so delighted when I saw this pop up in my subscription box and watching it was…honestly, it was pure bliss.
I think one of the things that struck me most is how ingenious this video is. You‘re giving us more worldbuilding, which you’re already a master at, and combining it with paper tracing and map showing in a way that feels completely natural. The map is GORGEOUS and leaving it slightly empty means that there’s still plenty more to explore for us and the characters. I can just imagine our sorceress traveling this world, and I find myself wondering where her adventures took place, trying to pinpoint places and recognize things she mentioned (the mage academy? the orc lands?) Many mysteries beckon :D
And the character of the cartographer…oh, she’s wonderful! The change from her initial cool demeanor to the pure passion and joy once she gets to talk about what she loves - heartwarming. The cartographer seems to be asking many questions about the world. One almost wishes she could meet Mira and get all the answers she seeks :D I feel as though the two would get along, what with their mutual dislike of the Wardens and the cartographer’s meeting with the orc + interest in the world.
Your acting is so immersive. I can sense it’s ASMR because it sounds so damn good, but I am also here for the story, a traveler in your world, and it makes me very happy each time. Amazing work!

She’s going to be a very disgruntled cartographer when she finds out sand dunes actually move and cannot be readily or easily mapped.
And sand people always ride single file to hide their numbers.
