Same!! I need this! I know for me, it helps to actually be in front of people speaking but I would prefer being in a no judgement space or safe space to practice in. Unfortunately, that’s unrealistic

Last Sunday, was my second time speaking. I prayed before I went up there each time. I feel like I sound super nervous, but everyone told me I sound the opposite. When I played it back to edit it for my channel, I actually didn’t sound bad like I thought. You have to just do it and keep going, eventually the nervousness will go away (I’m telling myself that as well). I allow God to have His way when I speak

I still feel afraid, but practice, preparation, and prayer is my method.

Fear is not of God, so you’ll have to start with why you’re even afraid in the first place ❤
Edit: meaning, if you first find out why you’re afraid you may be able to understand yourself more clearly the root of the fear and where it’s coming from and how to trust God with that😊.

@@Ashleyunfilteredthat’s true, but one can be using the term “fear” to express a type of nervous energy they have to bring a powerful message. Sometimes it’s not actual fear, but the desire to get it right and perform at their highest level.
