I miss the version of Estaff where it converted a % of your health to magical power. Also Gauntlet of Thebes where it increased healing by 15%. Oh and Celestial Legion Helm with its anti crit passive.
Venomous Seviper Estaff with Kukulkan was so good
I enjoyed it on raijin when he camr out. Built old warlocks on him with estaff.
anti crit legion helm was so broken dude. had like 70 power and 90 phys protection for like 2500 gold.
Old staff passive should be brought back, for real its not that much of a op passive to have it removed lol
Old E-staff was great on DMG Ymir.
Watching the gameplay, it’s amazing to see how little the joust map has changed. A year and a half, the only noticeable change is that they made the tower and phoenix areas more obvious and bold. Watching old conquest gameplay from around the same time i get so completely lost, it’s so starkly different! The fact that the joust map is 99% unchanged is amazing to me!
Crazy how it still hasn't changed makes me miss the original joust map
8:20 Playing Freya jungle with that and invading with a Bellona with frostbound hammer was the most fun I've had in Smite
Tribal ward was a first attempt at jungle, it didn't work out compared to bumbas so it was removed, it didn't give you sustain so only gods like arachne and bakasura would make use of it and when it was removed for bumbas, jungle role started to exist.
Just saying, there was actually an OLDER Guantlet of Thebes. This one was actually a stacking item that gave you pure health. Many people didn't use it till they reworked, which was the Gauntlet of Thebes you presented. It was removed the next day it was introduced, since it was so broken. Everyone had +4000k health, because items like old ethereal staff, warlock's sash, and other hp items were ramped up. But silverfox girdle didn't exist at that same time op Gauntlet of Thebes was out. I'm saying this because I experienced it. And that jungle item was also before Bumba's I believe.
Anthony Van Wagoner no. The one stated was the original one. They reworked it twice. The second time is the one that you mentioned. And the last is the current one. The second rework of it was like only for a day or something like that then they removed it again.

And that was in 2013, the OP version of Guantlet of Thebes was removed in 2014, a day after it was released. I've been playing smite during beta and I experienced both.
🙃 season 4 gauntlet with rod of healing on aphro was my bae. People think season 5 aphro is gross but don’t remember when she could heal for 240+Hp a tick back in early season 4.(with proc w items)

Well. With rituals. You could normal blink -> combat blink -> he bo ult the back 2 damage dealers before the fight even begins.

All of these old items are so interesting, the stuff we have now is so boring. I also feel like builds are limited currently because there's not a whole lot of items total. I hope we get some more items soon.

Achille’s spear freya is what kept me up at night

Wasn't there a bunch of potions removed? I remember one that revealed hidden enemies and one that was like blink
I miss Achilles spear. Walking out of lane with 50 hp, walking back into lane full health just by hitting a buff camp a few times. Mmm. And 30 seconds. T.T

And Asi passive, I forgot. Stacked so well. That damage increase "risk" wasn't really that much of a risk if you never used it for fights.
And now we have same shi with devo gloves and bumba mask.
It's nowhere near the same as devo's with Achilles

I likes the ritual, but since even Hirez said “Endgame items” shouldnt they cost the same as the 3k pot? Wouldnt that make them balanced? waste 3k on a ritual or finish items🤔 hmm
Ecchi Bot even with that gold cost it was still op since rituals like rally can do some serious harm, especially when the team is communicating and having a free escape that you can buy at any time is nasty
Isaac vitela, How is something Op when it becomes the price of Deathbringer. They costed the same price as a starter item. They are suppose to be thought of as Endgame so they should of stayed and just increased to 3000 to match he pot
