I'll say it here and now, Crayons are just FUN! Seriously, if you've never considered using them, try them out! Crayola Crayons are inexpensive, colorful, and just help bring you back to a simpler time. This set had a little some of everything, neon, pearl, glitter.... the only thing it didn't have was a black!

You draw so well!
That was fun. 💛those are pretty cheerful colours!!
Thank you. I LOVE the color selection of this set. Just bring your own black crayon.
As a kid I would always scrap the crayons with my nails and it would look so nice but my nails not so much lol Then I would use scissors but if I wasn't careful, it would scrap it and leave a streak.
Oooohhhh... maybe just stick with your fingernails!
Best way of doing it is with a sculpting tool or anything with a flat surface like a pencil with the eraser removed and the metal bit flattened.
This scrapes off the wax evenly, leaving only the pigment.
This only works when you apply the crayon with force to get a flat solid colour as possible (somewhat burnishing)

You're very welcome. There are really good videos out there that explain it in more detail.
I learnt it from a video by Echo Gillette.
That final drawing is beautifully made!
Thank you so much!
