So much fun! I can't wait to order my flx6. I never was into these ddj's but as I get older and smarter, it's easier to stay with technology since everything Is digitized and to stay compact as possible. I'll always love turntables but this saves so much time. I can pend more time with my family or other hobbies. Nice set!! Thanks for sharing.

FYI, I love that your reviews are not biased, and are honest, hard to find that these days.
I have a DDJ200 as have yet to purchase a laptop(have a desktop) and was tossing between the 400 and the platinum fx pro for my first gig cable controller, but after seeing this, I think I might have to wait and save hard until it drops here in NZ

I would advise you to get a controller with xlr outputs for gigs something they should have included in the flx6 but didn't
@@afolz96 yeah I know, buy to have balanced XLR outputs you need earthed mains power supply.
I have addressed this issue by using a mixer with balanced xlr outputs and usb a interface.

sick mix, but again i feel like you could use the 4 channels more!! a lot of us wanting to upgrade to this want to hear the applications of the extra channels, maybe a dnb mix or something that utilises more than 2 channels better would be cool?

They work great in rekordbox, not so much in Serato...Ideal for open format mixing when you want to change tempo

So what i understand is its pretty much a step up from the ddj 400, and in reality 4 channels and scratch bank is what you are paying for, the ddj 1000 is an extra 1000 aud and for a casual/hobby dj may be to exy. Im keen to upgrade to a 4 channel, so think this may be the best value for money?

It's definitely the best value for money if you want 4 channels, that's the best thing about for me
No. Better rather go with the 1000 cuz u will grow out of it real quick. The FX panel is just way too disappointing in this new model. Rather go with the full model. It’ll save u the money when you eventually want to upgrade after a year.

Yes u can if u use rekordbox, but i would suggest u just invest the 10 bucks of tidal into a recordpool sub! More worth ur money

the effects is not in the unit , works only in rekordbox. in Serato sounds terrible , make you guys try it before to buy ,they make such nice videos doing this but in reality is not like that .

each deck has a button to switch from 1 to 3 or from 2 to 4
yes, and thats the only way, this mixer doesn't have inputs
