I think the hate came from that it was strictly syndication and not a lot of stations picked it up. I liked the show, my only issue with it was I think that the end game amount should have been higher than $5000.
RIP Kristoff St. John and ironically, the real LaToya Jackson appeared recently on the Alec Baldwin MATCH GAME. Wonder if LaToya ever saw Judy's impersonation of her?
If the show had returned for a second year in 1999-2000, I think they'd have brought back the Star Wheel to cut down on Vicki being selected for Super Match.

When I Watched the Match Game 98 episodes in the Head to Head match, They always picked Vicki Lawrence.
If the show had returned for a second year in 1999-2000, I think they'd have brought back the Star Wheel to cut down on Vicki being selected for Super Match.
And then the prize should have doubled to 10K.
