Equinox 900 and 700 Quick Tip - Iron Bias (FE)

Here is my Mental Metal Quick Tip video on the Minelab Equinox 900 and 700 regarding Iron Bias (FE). Bottle cap rejection, F7 is no longer available for the Nox 900. It is now built into the FE. I'll show you how to get to FE and the difference between the Nox 900 and 700.

What settings do I want to find a man’s ring possibly made of stainless steel ? Lost in a back yard yesterday.

I'm strugling with iron bias on my 900. No matter how high I put it (even up to 9) I still get all iron...it doesn't reject bottle caps or small bits of iron. I've seen a couple vids on here of people cancelling bottle caps around FE of 6. Can you do this with yours? Some vids show people having the same issues as me (they demonstrate live how it isn't rejecting iron using FE...and showing how the 800 would do it but not the 900). I've tried differnt coils and no difference. Any help you can offer before I return it thinking it may be defective? Thank you.

Is the iron bias similar to the silencer on the deus? i haven't turned my Nox on in 2 years....probably should charge it

I would have liked the 700 to go all the way up to 9 in this setting, But it is what it is..

That is one of the limits.
