Monique, you are an excellent rules teacher. Thank you
The anticipation was real with this one! Thank you for the playthrough ❤️
😊
yes, finally a playthrough of Nucleum. Thank you
Did Naveen just skip an entire turn when he said “before I make any mistake, then proceeded to finish a contract and then passed the turn over to Monique?”!!!
1:25:20 The tile placed on the track has a -1 discount on develop, so Monique only has to pay 4 Thalers for the two tiles, instead of the 5.
Thank you for the playthrough, I'm now even more hype to try this at some point.
finally :) . share your love for the lacerda games but I am also very into nucleum (as well as brass and barrage). So glad you coivered this one as it is at the top of my list. great teach! Now onto australia expansion hehe
Great watch! Congrats on the win! Poor Naveen got CRUSHED two games in a row now! Im sure he'll win the next one! Thanks to you both!
1:33:30 The two mines should still be maxed out, at 3 uraniums each. Two from the two mines, +1 from the tile to industrialize, +1 from tier 1 tech, plus the 2 that's already on the mine in the purple city.
Finally! Very excited to see watch this one as soon as I can
I was looking forward to this playthrough! I didn't buy it at Essen because I heard it is a combination of Barrage and Brass and I really love those two games and didn't see the need for a similar game, but I want to see how it plays and see if it brings something new! Going to watch now :)
Hope you enjoy the video!! ☺️
Thanks for doing this! Specifically was hoping for this one from you guys,
Hope you enjoy the video!! 🙂
@@BeforeYouPlaythankyou so much for this!!! Please continue to cover heavy games and do your amazing teaches
This has been sitting on my shelf for a while, and your explanations have made it so much easier.
Finally a Board & Dice game on the channel. And you've launched a really great game. And I would be happy if there were more games from them in the future, like a T-Games series? :)
I think in the last two turns Naveen energized but didnt take the stars for it. Prob he could take the 40 spot on his recharging and at the end it'd be a little points more as well...
i've seen the game a few times, but never really got it. Thanks for the introduction.
As much as I would love to play this one, I have a feeling I will never get my husband to do so. Thanks for the play through, you two!
Thats not Europe, thats Eastern Germany (with the exception of Praha of course). ;-) Great teach and playthrough, as usual!
Hahaha you’re right!! 😜
I...I was gonna get my copy this week. That's the 3rd game now!! What is happening?! XD
I have to play this quite a bit before I even think about the Australia expansion.
There’s an expansion for this???
@@BeforeYouPlayyes. Waiting for anew map
I'm developing a true love for Euro games. Simone is a brilliant game designer. I was initially turned off by this game. Its interesting that the dynamic between you both can increase the appeal of a game. Ive watched this play through several times now. What was I thinking. This game is awesome! Thanks so much guys. Nucleum is going into the shopping cart. Thanks for all your hard work and effort guys. You Rule!!!
How would you say this compares to Brass - Lancashire? Love Brass and this seems very similar. Thanks!
How did you like it at the 2p count?
I think the only mistakes I caught was naveen forgetting to take stars when he energized 2 of the neutral buildings.
This is a complicated game, but you make it look simple. Good to focus on major contracts.
I thought Castles of Burgundy scored a lot of points. Both went way past the 200 mark.
Nice one thanks 🙂. You've proved exactly why I love Brass:Birmingham more... that end of game scoring is huge it just keeps going and it's only 2-player!
26:55 If I have 13 achievements points can I chose to put the star on the 12 if I want the lower benefit? You didnt mention that case.
Yeah you can always choose a lower benefit as long as you don’t have another star in that same scoring bracket.
@@BeforeYouPlay thanks! 🙏
OK, i'd officially demand a salary to play this game.
Oh no a review would have been super nice! Thanks anyways
I think it's because they were paid to do it. Makes sense. Just happy to have them teach it
@@garylangford6755 Oh I completely missed that this is paid content. Maybe they can review it somewhere else then?
Uumm, I think you skipped Naveens turn at 1:51:30 :/
Yep, they skipped it
@2:01:30 that yellow building could have been built there? There was no blue network.
you can use others connections too
7th tech allows to build anywhere😅 got it
They really messed up the experiment board design in my opinion. They should have made those double layered. Im really afraid the thin areas between the projects will be bent or even go off...
I bought it just to find out it does not fit my table even at 2 player. 😭
The scoring is just over the top. Ridiculous! Decent game but scoring combined with 45min setup and pack down. Not worth it imho.
I think that Barrage is a better game as Nucleum just used a lot of things from it. I don't want to say this is a rip off but man, there are sooooo much things that Nucleum copied
Theres almost nothing from Barrage... Its maybe 90% Brass and 10% Barrage. The only thing which I noticed are the turbines and that you can use other players turbines... otherwise it has nothing in common...
