What an idiotic comment "You don't expect a plane that leaves Britain.....this to happen". This can happen to ANY plane ANYWHERE, flying to France, Spain, or Singapore. Turbulence happens and that is why you are advised to KEEP YOUR SEATBELT ON THROUGHOUT THE FLIGHT". Where on earth did they find that naive presenter?
Their whole narrative it taylored to suit their target audience....
Bro forgot about BA38
Climate change đđđđđđ
exactly right!! was mad when a tiktoker recomended seatbelting around ankles for comfort ,could only imagine what damage that could cause ..it had 250k like too....us humans are dull and backward
He clearly meant the death - which is very rare

Oh, shut up.
Stop spamming, fool.

did you know them or something or you just trying to virtue signal and gain them all important like clicks ?

Thats why the seatbelt sign comes on. Turbulence is extremely dangerous
In this part of the world yes
Clear air turbulence can't be seen or predicted. I'd imagine this was the case here.
@yggdrasil9039 yes but this part if the world us known for this thing
@@yggdrasil9039 you are ment to keep the seatbelt on for the duration of the flight..... turbulence is the reason why.
Weather patterns will indicate if it is probably going to hit turbulence.
Done this route many times. Bay of Bengal is notorious for turbulence. Always, always keep my belt on and make sure my family has done the same.
Yep thus part if the world is known for that
No it was climate change đđđđđđ
â@@Andre-kc9didefinitely đ
The reason people are injured during turbulence is that many halfwits undo their seatbelts as soon as the seatbelt light goes off - if you need to, just ease the tension a bit, but at least you will be held in your seat if you hit bumpy air. Its a cruel world.
maybe the halfwit was in the bathroom.....the turbulance could have come out of nowhere and he/she could have been getting the nappies out of their overhead luggage compartment to change their babies nappy. YOU DON'T KNOW! So don't be disrespectful.
Falling over is the main clause plus health issues. Not seat belt.
â@@BellinghamCottage very hard to fall over if you're belted to your seat.
@@darrylstark9259 you made reference to being seated which was something you made up. Canbin crew falling when in service not people sat down. Nice try though but your made up fact was just made up. Legs just get into it.
@@BellinghamCottage are you saying that you can fall over when you're wearing a seat belt?
PLEASE KEEP YOUR SEAT BELT ON WHEN SEATED đ R.I.P.
"I've never heard of this before". Have you never flown or read the news? What nonsense. It's not 'shocking', although not common. Melodramatic drivel. Oh, yes, opportunity for climate change drama.
this was severe turbulence which is very rare. Majority of pilots have never experienced severe turbulence in their career.
@@0ldw3lshm4n Correct
You wouldnt expect something like this to happen to a plane flying from Britain.
What a pratt
Indeed, British flights are immune to turbulence - or to the laws of physics for that matter. And what has the amount of stuff in the overhead lockers to do with it? Was there any suggestion that the deceased was hit by a loose item? The person who died probably crashed into the ceiling of the plane, not minding the warning about seat belts.
Your final sentence accurately describes you indeed
Think they need to educate these presenters before they come on talking such utter nonsense!
Oh what a comeback. You must feel so unbelievably clever.
He is a prat. Always has been
People will insist on still flying Boeing; they've been warned by workers at the plants but they pay no attention.
This shows exactly why you should always keep your seat belt on even when the light is off. Turbulence can occur at any time without much warning
Unfortunate, not shocking. LATAM Boeing 787, 11 March 2024, 50 injured. If you're in you seat, always wear your seatbelt, regardless of what the seatbelt sign says.
This is why you should always war your seatbelt. You never know when turbulence might strike.
*wear
You should also always proofread.

Not so long ago another flight going from Australia to New Zealand dropped I think 500 meters suddenly. I've lost interest in flying.
Good for you, stop flying, turbulence will become more dangerous due to climate crisis...nowadays more heat wave.
Just keep your seat belt on at all times. Yes, when seated too.
Thatâs the point, they donât want you flying anywhere.
Fair enough if you're scared of heights but you're far more likely to die in a car crash or just walking somewhere.

I have experienced violent turbulence before when I was on flight from London to San Francisco about 20 years ago. It was so bad that the pilot had to divert the plane which added on 90 mins to our flight. People were screaming, vomiting, shytting themselves and pizzing themselves. The air cabin crew had to drag about 20 full black bin bags to the back of the plane (they were full of used vom bags).
That guy ' never heard of it before '' đđ
Flying over the bay of bengal can be turbulent. Condolences to the family of the passenger who lost his life and hope the other passengers are doing well.
someone living in bangkok right now says the storms are pretty bad right now.
Who are these fools??
Oh just fools believe me.

NOT CLIMATE CHANGE
A single incident can't be blamed on climate change but climate change will put more energy into the atmosphere and that may well increase the frequency of similar events.
@@ColinWatters the climate changes every second of every day. Always has, always will. The narrative of 'climate change' and 'climate crisis' has nothing whatsoever to do with this. How exactly is 'more energy being put into the atmosphere'? You just may have said the silliest thing I've heard since that dopey woman in the video spoke up!
@@ColinWatters Nope.
@@ColinWatters How about you try real science instead and in the meantime spare us this pseudo-scientific drivel?
@@t._._._. Well said!
But obviously, you have to be pretty unintelligent in the first place to believe in all this "climate change" nonsense. So, not surprising to hear silly things each time a proponent of this unscientific and agenda-driven flawed theory opens his mouth!
God thanks safely landed Singapore airways the best safety in the world
BS about climate change. I've flown many times from Australia to Europe via Asia. I have been since I was a child. I'm 52 now. There is always turbulence over the equator, Bay of Bengal......It's a given.
How the hell has turbulence killed a passenger
Heart attack.
Falling objects; elderly or infirm person in the wrong place at the wrong time.
In this case its believed he had a heart attack, but turbulence can be pretty violent. How many elderly would survive being dropped on their head ?
Peirce is just making irrelevant, stupid remarks, while the lady presenter is spot on.
She's hot too whereas he looks like an average BBC Pdf đ
I arrived in Hong Kong 1990 and the next day a passenger was hospitalised after hitting his head on the luggage locker during severe turbulence approaching Hong Kong..
They didn't say what caused the death. Could be a heart attack or anything. Very sad.
Severe turbulence a few months ago. Over North Madagascar. Germany's Condor flight to Mauritius. Pax severe injuries. Plane grounded in Mauritius. Plane's pax cabin severly damaged.
Condolences to the family of the person who died. The climate has been naturally changing since day 1 and will continue to do so.
đ€ŠđŸââïž
This cannot be blamed on climate change, because CC is not real. Man-made weather manipulation is real though, look.up geo-engineering.
Wtf u on op
Wtf u on OP
Lots of people saying seatbelts, etc. Yes, I always have my seatbelt on whilst in the chair, but you've got to go to the toilet on a trip from London to Singapore.
Aircrew usually know when the plane is coming into turbulence, and warn passengers accordingly.
Who knows the deceased victim has some underlying health issues
Yes ,sadly the person could have had a heart attack đą

Always wear your seatbelt, even loosely unless you need the toilet
Great advice!
Turbulence is just a media spin at this point. We don`t if this was a turbulence. All we know is that the plane suddenly tilted upwards. Airlines always try to give turbulence as a reason for insurance purposes.
Don't wander around or to the restroom when the seatbeltsign is on
I have experienced extreme turbulence over the Bay of Bengal on my way from London to Jakarta( Indonesia) via Dubai. The plane dropped like a stone which was terrifying and sharply rose like being on a rollercoaster. I had another frightening experience at Sharm-el-Sheik, (Egypt) take off when the extreme hot air or thermal rising from the ground virtually launched the aeroplane into the air like a rocket.
Bless them đą
This is GBNews so don't expect anyone to make any sense. Especially if you are "sat in an aeroplane".
Why donât they wait for confirmation on what has actually happened? All they have to say is one died 30 injured from apparent turbulence more to come
You get quite bad turbulence on the way into and out of Florida due to the humidity, heat and plenty of thunderstorms....... and the horrible, tragic news of someone losing their life due to probably hitting their head is a perfect example of why they tell you to ALWAYS WEAR YOUR SEAT BELT.
Condolences to the family of the passenger who died. Early days but this looks like severe turbulence, possibly CAT - Clear air turbulence.
Odd how one person has a story about 'extreme turbulence' over India - done the journey in those same kind of planes for years on a regular basis and it's never been 'extreme' for me. Got to be something more to this than simply turbulence.
well, the group of ppl in a plane who think they can do everything like switch on phones too early, no need seatbelts or ignore the signs all have got karma now. Its never good when someone injured or dies but the plane signs and rules are not to be ignored.
Always keep your belt on
Always wear the seatbelt golden rule
Singapore not safety anymore.. Better you choose any airline after.. Too old plane by boieng
Atleast one channel mentioned about the overhead lockers... Dear airline industry, for God's sake PLEASE ACT NOW !!!
What?
At the moment, since it is a Boeing aircraft, I will wait for the air-investigator's report before accepting these details, even from GB News!
God bless
Turbulence or non turbulence sir? Well actually I am British
I dont do turbulence as you should be aware.
38 deaths since 2009? Mh70 had more deaths than that and thatâs just one of many. Crashes unless you are just talking about deaths cause only by turbulence
Aircraft don't fly over the Himalayas.
Itâs DEI
Wear your seatbelts
I always think if I get up the plane is going to lose its balance and crash. I don't eat,or drink on the plane and don't use the toilet incase the plane will lose its balance.
Wow, that is so thoughtful of you. Saving lives like that.
You have OCD? Don't fly long haul. That's unreasonable. Do wear old pants though. Your neighbour will definitely spill coffee on you. I'm not being facetious. I kind of understand your feeling.

Sad news for the dead and injured. But I had to switch off when that silly cow piped up about climate change.
Is turbulence not linked to climate change?
@@Sam-mi6cz Nope. 'Climate change' is a narrative; the climate changes by the second and the earth is in one of the coldest periods experienced during the last 10,000 years. Solar radiation causes turbulence, and the last dozen years or so has seen radiation decreasing.

Oh God Boeing Again
Clear Air Turbulence will increase as the climate warms up, a recent study of data covering the last 40 years by scientists at the university of Reading point to the fact that injury causing CAT has increased by 55%.
The reason there are more reported incidents is the increase in number of flights. Solar radiation which caues turbluence is actually lower now than the last dozen years or so, so that argument does not stand.
lol

Boring Boeing never in the news
Why is it that you don't expect that someone will die on a plane flying out of Britain?

Of course, all these climate alarmists have conveniently forgotten to mention that it is the start of the monsoon season across India and much of Southeast Asia! Extremely turbulent air due to high humidity and temperatures, leading to major thunderstorms, particularly at high altitudes; but never mind, their narratives must be pushed' regardless!
