This is an impressive amp. I picked it up a few months ago aiming for a Polytone-style amp. This one actually improved on that. However, I've chosen to sell it because I won't be doing live gigs anymore and thus, don't need the extra volume or portability.

Hi, what settings do you use for gypsy jazz, Iâve got a piezo pickup but Iâm finding the amp sounds too electric for that style did you turn off the tweeter ?

is very good on the arch top....same as plugging in a home hifi for the Manouche...twetter specially on guit amps are not a good idea ,I would never buy something like it...good playing.

On the acoustic guitar side , how do you connect them to the amp?
I mean via piezo or the small mic that you have mounted on the hole? If so could you tell us which model the mic is?
The mic is an audio technica pro 70
I wonder how it sounds compared to the 10 inch? Iâve never been satisfied with small speakers but Iâm guessing this amp/speaker is a little more hifi/efficient compared to a champ. My arch top sounds really good though a 10 inch. The arch top with a 12â tends to have too much bass and needs to be eqâd. The compact size of this amp makes it so tempting. Iâm also curious if you can run the pickup in one channel and an acoustic clip on in the other and blend?
You can blend and thatâs basically what I do. Pickup plus mic for gypsy jazz. You can also send both channels separately to mixer if you use a Y cable in the back with the effect loop.
The tiny speaker really works for jazz. In the context of this music better to think of a speaker size like a bell of a horn. In rock or fusion speaker size is like the size of a bass drum. Thatâs my philosophy anyway. If you get one use our promo code at check out for a discount! Marbin2305
