On M1 visa, you will be able to have practical training period. You can work as a pilot/CFI in the U.S. during that period :)

Hi Vatsa, M1 students are not allowed to have on/off campus jobs. You will need to apply for the practical training upon the completion of your training.

It depends on the citizenship of each student but most of students get 5 years on M1 visa.

You can apply for PT after your courses at WIFA. PT will grant you a work authorization up to 6 months.
