I’ve found this in a few vids where DreamXD is like, being a god doing his god thing and Phil’s just over there like “DreamXD, put those two people down and stop threatening people” and he just obliged. Like, DreamXD wouldn’t listen to anyone or follow anyone’s directions but then philza arrives and it’s just like “oh hey Philza Minecraft” and I love it-

I don’t know how it’s taken me this long, but the Phil/Techno character dynamic is literally Loki and Odin from Norse mythology.
First, their characters are similar. Philza is Odin. He has his crows, and Odin has his ravens. They are both very wise and old, as well. Techno and Loki are similar because of their complete disregard for authority, love of trouble, and a few other things.
Whats more is how Odin and Loki’s relationship is nearly the exact same as Phil’s and Techno’s. Odin and Loki, in the actual myths, were blood-brothers. However, everyone thinks that Loki is Odin’s adopted son because of “outside sources”.
Idk, I see a lot of strange similarities between ancient mythologies and the DSMP lore and stuff
