the pod filter isnt actually dirty, but the boot of the pod is getting in the way of the holes that the carb has at the mouth. take off the air filter section off of the pod filters and put the boots on youll be able to see that the boot is blocing necessary holes, you can shave it down with a razor or a rotary tool

Dude this bike is giving you such a hard time but I feel like you learn so much about bikes because of all of this. In the end you managed to put everything perfectly back together and made the KZ run again. You can be very proud of yourself 🫶🏻
Also, there is no better reward than taking your bike for a ride after such an achievement 😇
