It is amazing how you thought every embarrassment, mistake, was world ending. And yet, the excitement of it all was intoxicating! Awe, to be young again! If you're young, enjoy it! Soon you'll be my age and wondering where the time went!
I'm a confirmed heavy metal nut yet I will drop everything and stop to listen to these guys. Just shows what a huge impact and appeal they and their music have always had xx

Well, this is the song that really made them big. And not through diffrent labels. Just by people calling in to stations and wanting to hear that song, just one more time. Because someone from America bought an album in sweden, and send it to a music station.station. So yeah... kinda iconic :)
I'm 19 years old but for 4 years I've been listening to this music, asking my uncle, my brother and my brother's friend since they are rock fans. But it was difficult to find this music, I had to search for it on the Google Sing microphone and I found the good music!!🤙💿🎙️

I was 10 years old when this song blew up. And boy did it. This song should be the first definition behind 'staying power' because it's immediately catchy and infectious the more times you listen to it. It's one of those songs that when it comes on, you leave your radio on the station until it's over. Absolutely wonderful song!

RIP Marie.. Great singer and person. She will be missed by all..
RIP Marie Fredriksson, a Roxette fez parte da minha adolescência...
This song instantly transports me back to my early teens and all the excitement, that came with it! That first kiss, touch, boyfriend and all the silliness too! It is amazing how you thought every embarrassment, mistake, was world ending. And yet, the excitement of it all was intoxicating! Awe, to be young again! If you're young, enjoy it! Soon you'll be my age and wondering where the time went!
❤❤
thank you
This song reminds me of days with my mom when I was little. It makes me cry because it was simpler times but I’m grateful for those times.
A lot of memories with their music and their records... RIP Marie💔😥
I'm a confirmed heavy metal nut yet I will drop everything and stop to listen to these guys. Just shows what a huge impact and appeal they and their music have always had xx
I am too. I think this was one of the few pop CDs I bought in the 80s. This, and Genesis Invisible Touch was about it. Great tune.
Daffy i love Genesis as well lol. Especially the early stuff which is very prog rock
Me too. Hardcore metal fan but there’s definitely something special about this. I wish it was on the radio now as much as it was when I was 13.
The guitar work in this song is absolutely impeccable is why. Its just an incredible riff and that tone just cuts through. Im a metal nut as well but love me excellent pop-rock.
this is how you can tell a real music guy...will give it up for some Roxette!!! nice....
Long live the 80s!
I love this song thank you all
i was born in 2000, but i grew up listening to this and another bands because of my parents! I still listen nowadays, roxette and simple plan were the bands that had a big impact on my childhood!!
They raised you well :D
I was born 1976 - and its the only Swedish cool Duo
Omg same, I was also born in 2000 and I remember spending my childhood days watching Roxette videos on the tv because my dad bought a CD with all of their videos
So you didn't grow up listening to Justin Bieber?
lee light SAME!!
Their most iconic song of all time. I heard this a gazillion times on MTV, and never got tired of it.
i doubt it when you consider others they have released such as 'it must have been love'
Well, this is the song that really made them big. And not through diffrent labels. Just by people calling in to stations and wanting to hear that song, just one more time. Because someone from America bought an album in sweden, and send it to a music station.station. So yeah... kinda iconic :)
Actually, their most iconic song is "It Must Have Been Love". It's the song that it's the most often played nowadays as well.
It's up there with Nirvana's Smells like teen spirit. It's really one of those songs that people just seem to all know!
Madona
I'm 19 years old but for 4 years I've been listening to this music, asking my uncle, my brother and my brother's friend since they are rock fans. But it was difficult to find this music, I had to search for it on the Google Sing microphone and I found the good music!!🤙💿🎙️
"The Look" is one of my favorite Roxette songs! I still listen to it today.

R.I.P Marie Fredriksson...this was the first Song i heard
Same here!. Sad news.
Same here. I'm so sad about her death 😢😢
Same. The Look was the first time I'd heard Roxette. They were part of the "soundtrack of my youth". RIP Marie.
Incredible sad, growing up during the 90’s here in UK and it was impossible not knowing who Roxette were.
She had a long battle, brave and strong.
Vila i frid Marie.
Enero 2024 y x siempre en mí ❤ LOS AMOOOOO!!!!!
Que gran banda
I was 10 years old when this song blew up. And boy did it. This song should be the first definition behind 'staying power' because it's immediately catchy and infectious the more times you listen to it. It's one of those songs that when it comes on, you leave your radio on the station until it's over. Absolutely wonderful song!
its one of those song that even though it just turned on and you've pulled into your driveway, or the parking space at work, you stay just to listen it out
I was 16...sentiments the same! Now 50!
2021 quien mas escucha este clásico de Roxette. Saludos desde Ecuador...

When this came out in 1989 I fell in love with Roxette, I still love them still! Per and Marie are an amazing duo!!!
I heard on radio, I don't really listen to that much Roxette, but I straight away knew it was by Roxette
Sadly roxette doesn't existe anymore
@@millangalo3358 Yes, I know. Marie passed away a short while ago. Still doesn't make their music less effective and enjoyable!
