      Amazing. But...I mean, it must take many years to record an album like this. The rhythms alone, building layers, getting all the notes right, especially on the intricate solos...timing and layering of the pads/effects, reviewing the progress... for an album of this detail and (over)-intricacy, that could take a decade. What is your studio access situation?!

      I think 3:18 to 3:50 is incredible, his phrasing and the use of slides and selective times to mute the strings and not to mention his note choices! And the fact that he plays chords in the middle of his complex phrasing is just such an unbelievable demonstration of mastery over the instrument that hes able to pull off these licks with such finesse and style. I know it can sound just like mindless shredding to the average listener but when you really hear whats going on you realize how brilliant he really is.

    I only came here to listen to the nullity rooted song to hear any difference between this and the little live recording there was when i looked up "Jakub Zytecki". I ended up listening to Fall of Logic and Majin. I dont know what to say. All i know is that this kind of music is frighteningly addictive (i never though i could describe music like this) and i feel like im connecting with it sooooo hard right now. Im going to listen to the rest of this, because you my friend (and your skills) have my most genuine and undivided attention. I came to know your name because of your performance with Plini. This breaks all barriers and understandings of music. Idk man, fuuuck!

    This album has some sort of spiritual impact on me. Evokes these emotions I've only ever felt in dreams. Unearths things that have been festering in my subconscious, and brings a temporary release from the dreary humdrum of daily life in this modern world of ours. I can say the same of "Living Mirrors" by Disperse. Not much music out there has the power to bring tears to my eyes the way songs like "Dancing with Endless Love" do. Jakub Zytecki, I don't know what "it" is, but you've certainly got "it."

    • @wanttosayadrem2551
      @wanttosayadrem2551 Před 4 lety +2

      Agreed. I'm older person and remember that during communist times when Poland and several Central European countries were behind soviets "Iron curtain" there was plenty of very good blues, rock and jazz guitar players and other musicians as well several very good bands, e.g. SBB. They were mostly unknown for the rest of world, although they could easily be "on the same stage" playing as equal with many world-wide famous western bands (e.g. from England or the USA) but there was no promotion due to political system and "russia lunar economy imposed on the rest of countries. Ofc advertisement, promotion etc. are still very important but Internet gave more chances for such musician even after falling down the communism thanks to Polish Solidarity movement. Hungary also had 2 very good bands, especially Omega withe their hit "The girl with pearl hairs". It's why world could learn and hear among others about such virtuosos like Marcin Patrzalek, Wojtek Pilichowski, Kinga Glyk, Jakub and many others. Regards! :)

      Instrumental guitar playing never died. The most iconic guitar instrumental albums came out in late 80s and 90s, Surfing with the Alien and Passion and Warfare just to name a couple. Dream Theater also laid the fundamentals for commecially successful prog metal during the 90s. The virtuoso scene was alive and vibrant as ever and never moved anywhere, it was the focus of the public that shifted during that period.
