I send this to anyone I want to vent to because I can’t explain it and this song explains it perfectly. I don’t care if I’m weak minded I’m strong enough to admit that I need help with who I am and I want to be better
the song really takes me back to 2000s like what I’d put on the radio on the way to school
I’ve watched this several times because I can’t get over how extremely relatable it all is. I cry every single time.
I’ve literally said to myself sooo many times, and a couple of my close loved ones before, “why discuss my problems to someone else? My loved ones? What is a therapist gonna do? Just sit there and listen to me and judge me and prescribe me shit I don’t need or want? It’s not gunna help me. Why tell people my problems and feelings and troubles if I know it won’t help fix it? I don’t think anything can fix it. What is wrong with me???”
I have found the answer to that question thanks to one of my best friends tho, as said in this video; it’s about head space, getting shit off your chest and not bottling it up. “Having a release and venting.”

I lover Oliver expressiveness so much!! He is lovely, and so talented!! I never thought I would like see someone soo tattooed this much (I'm sorry, it's just not my thing) and I see him as a beautiful human being, both inside and outside. And his eyes are so bright, and pretty!! His talking voice is super cute!! I also love how beautifully he talks about hard stuff.
I discovered "Bring me The Horizon Last Year" (don't judge me, please) and they've become one of my favorite, and more significative bands ever ❤

I distinctly remember hearing this the first time and crying, thinking "these words are so simple yet so complex." Even tho the chorus asks a simple question, the answer to "why am i this way" is never simple.
I had so many bad experiences with therapy during my whole life.... 'the next time Ill open up to someone will be my autopsy' summarise perfectly how I feel. I need to open up myself, family and friends because therapy doesnt work with me. Next specialist will be a medical examiner (probably a colleague since Im in this field agah

I agree with you. It's important express and feel our feelings. Sometimes we just need somebody with the ability to hear ours bad moments without judgments. I love this song. "Lost" express the feelings of an entire generation full of depress, loneliness and a big struggle against our mind.

the truth of asking myself those two questions when i'm down/fucked up/whatever. Why am I this way, and what is wrong with me. The song hit me perfectly and probably with so many people. Gem of a song and Oli is a gem of a person.

Dude, you are fucking amazing. Everyone is so special in their own way. I absolutely love the vulnerability in the lyrics. Feelings and life can be scary to share with others. However, the sense of relief can be rewarding. If anyone ever needs someone to talk to, I'm always willing to listen l. Life can get difficult, and it's nice to vent at times ❤❤❤
I went through a really traumatic experience back in February and my heart between 2 people shattered my entire world around me. I was set up and left for dead on the side of the curb. I started losing friends left and right over a lie made about me. My feelings didn't matter. I was in pain for months of what I was going through. I couldn't even enjoy my favorite band because of how much pain I was in. But I have a few people that have helped me through this experience and it wasn't a complete loss. There's days were I'm still in pain, but not as much as I have been because of the few friends I have left
i really appreciate there work. even though they are not my favourite band but i can tell that they work hard to get to today just like other artists

I’m glad I met this band from the start. They way they grew is significant, his growth, his passion, and their dedication is real. I cannot find any other artist (in my view) that are as dedicated & loved for so long! His songs saved my life during all my crisis, depression, anxiety, suicidal thoughts, saved me from it all.

😢 ii feel ya Oli !!!....I'm just ugly crying right now. Wow. I grew up listening to ya'll and, I use to actually write my english essays at high school, quoting the album lyrics and, I remember when That's the Spirit album came out, I had during my senior year at that same time base off my literary themes of it. I changed dramatically and grew so much after stumbling across BMTH, and I remember I mean, this is something you always spoke about Oli, like opening up and just expressing yourself to just get it outta your chest and, you'll feel so much lighter because it's not condensed on replay in your mind anymore. It's just a release. I am now in my mid 20s, like going 24 and like I started listening to ya'll when I was 11. I'm so grateful to follow people like you Oli, who is just figuring life out, like the rest of us and we all just trying to steer our way and help ourselves out and try to be the best versions we could possibly try to achieve. You are not alone, I'm not alone, we All are not alone. Saying thank you and that I appreciate you doesn't scratch the surface of how much I really am so happy and grateful for you and your music !!
