    It's amazing that kids today don't know who Jimmy is/was. It is sad, because he's the eternal rebel in my eyes. I fell in love with him in 1975, aged 15. I love him to this day, and always will. I talk of him every single day, I LOVE him.

    He’s also even more relevant is people can make them their own man .....he belonged to no one....And that is what also makes him so endearing

    There was so much to this man. But unfortunately the qualities that most people (especially actors)have grabbed onto is the rebel that was against good manners. This was not James but a small part of himself and his roles. So now that everybody’s an asshole a nice gentleman will come along and that will be the next rebel.

    He was speeding. There were witnesses who said they were traveling on the same road, and he passed by them like they were sitting still and they were going 50-60 mph.

    • @ValTwineDeaner
      @ValTwineDeaner Před rokem

      He wasn't speeding at the time of his death. It has been technically reconstructed, and it was proven that he couldn't have been speeding. Turnupseed was in a large care and it was twilight. Jimmy's car was silver and very low, Turnupseed couldn't see the Porsche in that light.

      Steve p Hiya, I'm only going by the documentary I saw a few years ago (in recent years), where they did a scientific research, and did the journey, step by step, where they did a reconstruction and said it was impossible that he was doing more than 60 to 70 because with his car being aluminium, it would have been thrown into the field and the car would've been crushed to a pulp. People at the time, swore blind that Jimmy was in the passenger seat. I wish I could go back in time, and just stop him from even driving the car!! I guess we'll never know the exact truth eh - so sad. I still think he was the best actor ever. Although there are some very good actors today, no one can act with their body or whole being, as Jimmy did. I've thought about him every day since I first saw him on TV in his films, in September 1975. I was 15 then. It seems like yesterday. I live in England, UK. I went to the James Dean Festival in Fairmount Indian, in 2016. It had been a lifelong ambition. Are you from the USA? Val, xx

      @@ValTwineDeaner Yes, I'm from Cleveland Ohio. I love James Dean as well and believe had he lived might have been one of the best actors ever. I have seen numerous documentaries on him and believe he was still speeding but maybe that was his destiny. Would love to go to Fairmount sometime for his anniversary and to see his upbringing.

    Ha loved Pier, Dizzy Sheridan, Barbara Glenn, Christine White and a couple of male soul mates like William Bast. He loved people, no matter their gender, but he was too curious and restless to stick with one person...

People with masks go to shops to buy cigarettes. How ridiculous is that? The WHO advises the most stringent rules to avoid Corona. But the ic's are for years and years crowded with people suffering from ( often deadly) diseases related to smoking.

    No mention of a turn signal. If Turnupseed did not turn on his turn signal he caused the accident. Did anyone see a turn signal on?
