The Premier League was played in a round-robin format in the group stage. 2 points for a win, 1 for a draw. In the event of a tie, the number of frames won counted. The top four then played best of 9 matches in the semi-finals and best of 13 in the final.

I had seen it before, remember the time and the calculations for Robertson and Trump it was i guess. Now watching it with a fresh eye, I can see that Ronnie really wanted him to be out.

It's simple, Mark plays to win, Ronnie to entertain. Ronnie said in his 2nd book that its not fair to make us who work hard all week to pay for a ticket then watch grinding games like Selby!
I actually think this is one of the positive aspects of snooker - two players with very, very different styles of play are still competing at the highest level. Many sports/games eventually converge towards a single strategy or narrow set of strategies. Also, it's not as though Selby never makes a big break - he's got over 600 centuries. He just changes gears at a different point.

If you watch part 1 I think you would find that Ronnie wasn’t happy with Selby for the miss shots rule. If he didn’t pocket it intentionally he was toying with Selby, but that goes against Ronnie’s style of play. Although you do have to wonder since he miss so many frame shots.

You need to understand ,angles. Screw,top,stun,side,, Higgins once got a 155,max, free ball took yellow as red and black and got a 147,total 155

This match was qualifier for Mark Selby. Ronnie already had a spot reserved for himself in semi finals. So even if Ronnie beat mark selby by 4-2, selby would've had the chance to be in the semi finals. Sorry if I'm not exactly correct. I said what I understood by the video and subtitles
Nah... This was a league stage where they had to play all six frames.. Whoever won the most number of frames would go on top of points table

This tournament is not the usual format, it’s like a league, what counts is the number of frames each player wins. So, it’s not BEST of 6, it’s 6 frames total, even if it’s 6 - 0.
