- Hey guys welcome back to the channel! Today we do a special range test on 2 stock talaria sting e-bikes, Lance rides full throttle in eco mode and Alex rides full throttle in sport mode! We haven't seen anyone do a range test where they don't stop 30 plus times at stop signs and stop lights and that's what we wanted to see!
Comment down below how far you think each bike made it?

Proper range test, well done!! Love the content keep up the good work!!
Nice job guys! FINALLY someone does a different version of range testing! Hopefully a battery sponsor comes through...I'm sure it will help them sell a lot of batteries if they test well.
Sports mode. 15 miles
Normal mode 26 miles
Thanks for doing this! Been wondering since I got mine, I only have gone through half a battery. Going to be making videos on the R myself! good content, keep it up! subbed
this is awesome!! good workin BIG AL
Best range test..this means if I do get this it would take me to work and back without even charging it..thanks and great job guys..
Good job and thanks. We’re all itching to ride but this snowpack will be a challenge for a while. Good you could find dry turf and make content to inform us. How about trying to find some tire inserts to test? Keep up the good work and thanks again.
This would not only be good for aftermarket batteries but also controllers, one test with the new max speed of the controller but also another with the max speed of the original controller to see if they can affect the efficiency at lower speeds too. There was way bigger of a difference between sport and eco than I expected, atleast the mode lives up to it's name.
Nice video, Boys. I enjoyed watching it.
Now this is a range test thank you so much.
Glad to see that you guys are back!
What speedometer/trip meter is that? Much easier to read than the stock one!
Looking forward to your tests on the R! I am finally riding on dry ground again after many snowy/icy rides in Alberta this winter! lol
Keep the videos coming! 👍
Ha! I've been to the "undisclosed location" on the island. I've got some great footage from my friend's helicopter of that area... and the sunsets in the summer are next level.
Awesome variation on typical range tests!
Great result for the Talaria Boys 👍👍
really helpfull, well needed info, thanks!
Nice job. Caveat this is all on flat land. Where I live it’s steep and you would be taxing the battery quite a bit more. Something to consider.
Great test! When i got my talaria i made 102 km with fully charged battery @25 kmph cruising around town on bike roads.
new R model with 45ah battery ?
@@rooterad9042 no, not the new model stock 2022-09 with 38 Ah battery.
Never tested out the Talaria on just eco mode. Good to know it goes that far nonstop. It’s MORE fun on sport though. I avg 26miles sport mode on stop and go street traffic. Awesome content as always 🤌🤌🤌⚡️
What talaria do you have
@@isaiaharriola7055 first gen (mx3)
Awesome. Def should try again when there is no wind
Good to know my dudes 👍🏻
Awesome thanks 😮
i'd like to see the results if you guys were to use road tires. also you should have checked battery voltages before and after so you could figure out an average of how many amps you pulled for the duration of the ride.
Can you do surron vs talaria range test??? 😎🤙🏾🤙🏾
Any tips on how to ride on the road in Utah? Did you get it registered? If so, how?
Were these the new our model taleria with the newer bigger battery?
When you say Sting R is this equivalent/the same as the MX? I’m trying to decide on which bike to get XXX or MX3
Y’all r the talaria boys go get the sting r and do a build on it it would be sickkk
My 22 model looses 10% evey 2/3km when flat out always wondered how long it would last, I'm guessing around 30km flat out if even
Great test, what do you guys think of the new R? Worth upgrading from the previous model?
@@Talariaboys sweet!
Doesn't the motor get hot in sport all that time?
What gps do you guys use?
Do the sur-rons?
I'm Winning! I k n o w
I would invest into full face helmets they help with bugs
how much did u pay for your talarias
What is that little screen in the middle!? Looking to get one do you have a link? The one at 6:04
It is a wahoo gps cycling computer. Here is a Link! https: amzn.to/3MX48zG
@@Talariaboys awesome thanks!!
body weight of you and your brother?
I made it 4.1 miles on the last 4% on my MX3 in sport mode when I first got it.
Dang that’s far!
@@Talariaboys I really didn't expect to make it even 1 mile. Thanks for the vids!
Do the ride1up Revv1
what Speedometer do you use?
Wahoo Element GPS computer
Are these the sting mx3 or sting r mx4?
@@Talariaboys awesome can’t wait to see that video out
T-boyz
is this an mx3 or 4
Mx3
Good info, and shows why OEM batteries for these bikes are pure CRAP. Upgrading to a decent battery costs half the price of a new bike, but OEMs could make their batteries more capable for a lot less than that. They should at least offer a higher capacity battery as an OEM option, and still sell the low capacity versions to those that will never ride more than 20 miles between charges. A Chi 60v/60A Gladiator can go almost 60 miles in a Sur Ron. I'll bet an OEM could sell a bike with a high capacity battery for only $1000 more, and it would also fit better. The latest 21700 cells are helluva improvement over the current OEM offerings.
@@MotoAlias - I don't know any buyers that don't immediately want a bigger battery. The point is, OEM should be making better batteries available at significantly less cost than having to go to an aftermarket supplier that needs to make a separate profit, plus paying for shipping and ending up with your OEM battery collecting dust forever, or selling it for next to nothing.
Thanks, for metric viewers, my Sting does 70km or 70km/hour but you can’t do both. Trade off speed for range. “Steve’s Bikes” cheers
is this the talaria sting r?
nice I will be subscribing now then
I’m guessing 38 miles for eco, 29 miles for sport
Can someone please tell me the speed of the sport mode?
51mph
@@Talariaboys bless u bro 💙
Shame you guys are the Talaria Boys and you dont have an R first thing. :)
I was Hella wrong😅
Are these mx3 or mx4??
They are mx3.
@@Talariaboys no way you should do a test like this with mx4 and compare

maybe one day
0:00 the first clip is so sketch. It's right on the edge
35 miles
My guess was 2 miles shy for the eco mode 💪
My guess 22mi in sport and 41mi in eco.
@@Talariaboys I have an early production MX3 so I have some experience, but to be honest Ive never checked my range I just ride and charge as needed 🙂
Eco Bike
The more over 20mph the less efficient these electric motorbikes are.
Is this the causeway to antelope island
Yea!
