For being such a tiny car, Smart Cars are suprisingly tough and safe. A doctor my mom used to work for got t-boned in his on his way to the office. Not only did he walk away, but he was at work that day, albeit a bit late.

That's a 450 the earliest version which were known not the best, I'd go for a 451 1000cc 3 cylinder which easily cruised at 70 mph and was quite refined for a small car
In the US they were marketed as a Pure (base model), Passion (mid-range) and the Cabrio (convertible). I had a 2008 Passion and drove it everywhere - put 108,000 miles on it - and she never let me down. One of the few cars that I've had that I miss...They were actually speed limited to 90 mph. I've been on the Autobahn with them at 95+.
I always love to see the Bissell in action, especially since I bought one on your recommendation. I'm glad I finally got to see how you do the headliner, as mine could use some attention and now I know what to do. Thanks.
I find it actually sad that North Americans think only a compensator truck, preferably with big wheels like a pram and an exhaust the size of a chimney is a "real car". The Smart is very solidly built and surprisingly safe. The only thing I don't get is why they only sold the anemic Diesel here. The gas engine that mine had abroad got it going much better, at least if you knew how to manage that sodding gearbox. PS: Mitch, why is your store in USD?
Smart Car is just a Tonka Toy, it drives like one too. My Yellow 1972 Volvo 144S which had 40 horsepower, takes about 2 kilometers to get the car up to 100 km/hour on the highway.

Watched these videos long enough I rigged up a dish rag and a zip ty on my wet/dry vac and spent a couple days cleaning every piece of upholstery we own.
I actually bought a SMART car last year, my diesel truck about broke me filling it up $$. My buddies all laughed until they found out how far I got on a tank 😂🤷🏼♂️. #cheapa$$… yes I still have the truck

That thing could literally fit in the bed of my Silverado. Maybe that's why he has it? As like a backup vehicle in case the farm truck takes a dive.

Great job! But you can remove the carpet and wash it, the indoor smell can be better. Also, polish the front lamps.
