Brilliant video, thank you. Only bit I didn’t follow is why you would move the window pane down first, then later tape it up. Why not just tape it up first?
If I had taped the window first I wouldn't have been able to remove the two screws holding the window to the regulator as access to them is impossible if the window is up . I hope that explains the reason better than I did in the video . Thanks for watching 👍
Ah, I see!! Fab, thanks again 👍🏻
Thank you very much for your video. With your help, I was able to change the left front mechanism. The only difference I had no window clips. Once again thank you.
Awesome I'm glad it helped 😁 thank you for watching
Incredible detail. Thank you.
Thanks for watching. I hope it helped
@@dobbyrepairs Yes, just finished successfully today. I used a repair kit rather than a complete replacement mechanism, so it took me a bit longer. It was difficult enough to connect the cable properly. A difficult job but your video was very helpful.
Glad it helped you 👍
Mines just failed. Do you have any links to the parts you used? I'd really appreciate it 🙏
Would you recommend the motor being changed as well or? I'm not sure that's broken, although I can hear it still working when you press the button so hopefully it's all good 😅
Hi here is a link to the one I used on eBay www.ebay.co.uk/itm/174943232322?mkcid=16&mkevt=1&mkrid=711-127632-2357-0&ssspo=WapsIZ-PRYy&sssrc=4429486&ssuid=8pbamB85Rji&var=&widget_ver=artemis&media=COPY
You can also get them from autodoc as well
If it sounds like it's working, then no, but give give it a test once you're in there by taking it off and then using the button to see if it moves in both directions
