It’s mostly because the Chargers had a very talented roster, an impressive record in the first half last year and I believe their schedule was fairly easy in the 2nd half and somehow they didn’t make the playoffs. Lamar Jackson was pulling rabbits out of a hat last year and somehow had his team sitting with the #1 seed in the AFC with 6 weeks to go.
