  • In this video we travel north along the eastern side of Negros Oriental coming from Dumaguete. We stop and stay the night in Bais City. We wake early the next morning and head to meet a guide that was referred by a friend to go see dolphins and snorkel. It was fun seeing them but at the same time I felt sorry for the animals because it seemed more like they was just being pursued instead of a positive interaction between them and the people. We followed that by snorkeling but did not see much for fish life in the location they took us. By comparison my friend Cap and his girlfriend went here and was taken to where there was lots of fish. Our guides seemed lack of energy for the money we paid. You can go hang out on the sandbar if you time it right with the tides. The tides are forever changing day to day so go look at tide charts online for that area online. A simple web search will take you to numerous accurate sites. We could have ate lunch on the sandbar, swam and maybe have a drink but that is way more fun in a group setting. Melinda and I wanted to get on to our next adventure in nature so we asked to go on to the wharf. There we showered and ate our lunch that was included. The food was great and more than we needed so we shared it to the crew. Great time none the less and back on the road.
We are a Fil Am couple sharing our lives between living in Texas USA and Iloilo City on Panay Island Philippines. We share dealing with two different cultures, building our solid concrete cast in place home beach side and exploring/ seeking new things. We hope you enjoy and join to be part of a bigger family here on this channel.
Thank you for being apart of our channel and lives.

Salamat for the vedieo Po it was another good one 👍. The music you paired with it was a very good match James 😊 man if you could have identified what they were feeding on & got some and shut off & baited a area you probably could have gotten better views got you what ever it was & made you a belt out of it & went swimming with them . They might have been very friendly hehehe maybe too friendly 😅 hey flipper get off my legg lmao 😅 . God bless & Mabuhay 😊

Ive been there a hundred times, my mom is from there. The dolphins are very playful. The louder you clap and cheer, the higher they will jump. If youre lucky, they will even do tricks for you like swimming upright and sommersaults.

Not sure if it’s been asked. Anywhere near that volcano going off?
The motor on that boat makes the outboard seem whisper quiet. Did they offer ear plugs?
Interesting the dolphins aren’t playing in the wakes off the bows of those boats. I’m guessing the noise and clatter of the diesel is too much for them.
Odd to see so much coral and so little fish.
Just had pork adobo tonight ourselves.
    Looked like a good day.

@@TexasFilipino I am moving to San Carlos in the fall on Negros Island and I am interested in owning a banca and I know from your other videos that you are very smart and technical with boats. In your opinion is here any world where a guy could make a banca with a muffled engine? I heard that the reason they are so loud is because they would over heat if they had a muffler on them? Even the four stroke gas engines seem excessive in noise. I cowling would cause overheating as well. I saw your outboard engine which maybe the answer but I would like a. Ugh bigger boat to fish out of. Any thoughts would be appreciated!

I too have seen these dolphins, my experience was better. The dolphins actually were swimming next to and right under the boat. There seem to be many more than what you were seeing. Even if you did not see any dolphins, the boat ride I thought was fantastic.
