to be fair when i first watched the anime i was shocked and cried when everyone died and i thought akame would die too but instead (the guy from the begining im sorry i forgot his name) died and that was the point where i kinda didnt feel THAT sad since all my favorite characters but akame died.

Words can't describe how happy I was Akame survived and yet felt so sorry for her in losing all her friends in the anime. I'm glad the manga was happier in a ending than the anime, but still...I wanted to be there at her side when I saw the anime ending. To let her know she'd never be alone again.
I truly love Akame and feel for all the struggles she's gone through, especially regarding her tragic situation with her sister. Kurome truly was indoctrinated to the Empire and clearly unreasonable.
