- We recreated a Pink Floyd Live in Pompeii PA Rig with Chris Hewitt of CH Vintage Audio to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the original recording date in 1971. Stephen McElroy and Friends came down to play some songs through it! This is ‘Echoes’

This is incredible. It’s weird that it makes me this happy to know all that gear is together & in the hands of someone who cares for it this well, well enough to have given it another chance to sing like this. What a beautiful moment.
Wtf did I just stumbled upon????? Wow. I visited the Pompeii arena last year wearing my Floyd shirt thinking I was paying respect, stood at the location where the instruments and band members stood, reliving that performance, and here you guys just took it to the ultimate level by turning it to 11, 😂. Holy hell. I have to share this.

This was so good I was expecting it to be some kind of audio/video trick or something of that nature. By five minutes in, I realize it's for real! Bravo! What an accomplishment! Best tribute musicians I have ever heard.

Thank you very much for celebrating this great album , it's very well done and very faithful to the original . a Pink Floyd fan since 1969, so it's a long way back in time .I was listening for the first time : UMMUGUMMA.
The vocals are amazing similar to the original 1970s version. I wonder if Pompeii would let you guys set up there at the ancient ampitheatre.

I want to make people aware that the drummer, Ewan Cunningham, has more amazing Pink Floyd covers on his channel. He set up his equipment in an empty concert hall (Dobbie Hall) and filmed himself playing all the instruments and performing all the vocals. He then assembled the footage so it looked like there were four of him playing simultaneously. Great playing and production.

Oh yeaaa! Yes yes yes. I love pompeii version more, but its totally not in pitch. Its ok for old analog records, incorrect tape speeds, for example etc. Now i finally can jam on my p-bass!

per un'altra dose di viaggio nel tempo andatevi ad ascoltare e vedere le due performance nell'antico anfiteatro romano di Segóbriga fatte dai Pink Tones nel 2014 e nel 2016 (full show w/attendants), la prima in perfetto stile Pompei senza pubblico presente... solo la suite di AHM. Imperdibili.

Brilliant series. So impressed that someone has managed to get all the kit together. I didn't think I would see another WEM Festival Stack after our band sold theirs in the 70's. Plus contrary to popular belief you don't have to be stoned to enjoy Floyd. Great bunch of musicians. Made an old man very happy.
