Dynamax and gmax is far better as a game mechanic in my opinion.
It offers so much more variables to consider in the battle (weathers, entry hazards, gmax moves, terrains, buff and debuff according to specific types, max guard to block specific attacks if viable during the battle, time limit usage, the pokemon can still use items and the effects of some of them can even be triggered with the help of the dynamax moves, etc) and it's far more strategic, you actually have to think when to use it. Unlike megas where it was always basically first turns because no one is going to wait to use it and risk getting their pokemon fainted.
I don't hate megas but they were just basically a "press a button to get an instant stat boost" kind of thing but that also that made certain popular pokemon way too OP and that also destroyed the chances to evolve in the future to many of the less popular pokemon that got the borderline missfortune of getting one. Like Mawile, Sableye, Banette, etc that are now doomed to never be able to evolve naturally.
Also gmax are great because they actually expand on the concept and lore of the pokemon with the gmax form (for example: hatterene being a silent forest witch and turning in its gmax form into a princess trapped in a tower by a witch, in the witch at full power AND in the tower itself, snorlax the pokemon known for blocking the path in previous games becoming the entire route in its gmax form, gengar being a ghost and becoming the entire gate to the underworld in its gmax form, etc), the mechanic itself is way more visually impressive and is available to use for any pokemon thanks to dynamax.
The design for megas on the other hand look good but just makes the pokemon spikier for the most part (m. tiranitar, m. manectric, m. gengar, m. aerodactyl, m. houndoom, m. charizard X and Y, m. glalie, etc) and gmax doesn't cut the chances of a pokemon to evolve.
Megas as a game mechanic were and still are a complete disaster to implement.
The issues that megas cause can be summarized like this: Convoluted timelines in general, the cut of potential evolutions, the cut of the use of items, having to code a scavenger hunt for 50+ mega stones or make the player grind in a place like the battle tree just to get one and specially: having to give a new design to every single pokemon just for them to be part of such game mechanic (and the lack of accessibility for literally all the other 1000+ pokemon to megas as a feature because of this last issue).
To further explain how this is most likely the case consider this:
In gen 7 they added z-moves, a mechanic that is available for all pokemon while also introducing regional variants that maintain the appeal of form chance and keep away most of the issues that megas had.
In gen 8 they added dynamax that is a mechanic available for all pokemon while also adding gmax and regional evolutions that maintain the appeal of form change while also keeping away all the issues that megas had.
Gen 9 basically didn't have form change but just like the previous 2 they all get a standarized visual change according to their type. Which means they only have to make 18 variants of it and all pokemon still get access to it.
Did you see the pattern? Along many other issues with megas, that they fixed with the new mechanics they're trying to maintain the appeal of form change (regional variants, gmax, regional evolutions and convergent evolutions) while also ensuring the accessibility of the mechanics to all pokemon (z-moves, dynamax and tera), but avoiding the issues that megas had by being a mechanic that required every single pokemon that got access to a mega stone to receive a new design. Which is pretty much impossible.
They separated the accessibility and the form change for the new features in gen 7, gen 8 and gen 9 with a side focused on offering a new design and a side focused on ensuring the accessibility for all pokemon (and not only 50 out of the 1000+ pokemon) after the disaster that was having both things mashed together with the megas that had a lot of other issues on top of that as the ones I mentioned.
Z-moves, tera and Dynamax/gmax are far better integrated into the region itself and thanks to the fact that it only happens in specific places (their respective regions) the mechanic is used on fights that actually matter for the story. Literally all the gym leaders use the new mechanic and not only a few in late game like what happened with megas.
The issue with megas couldn´t even be solved by turning into a single item. Because an item like that would cause trouble no matter in which part of the game such item would be received (early game would be too broken, mid game was what the XY games tried and those games aren't exactly considered hard games and late game would be pointless since the game would be almost over by that point).
As I mentioned, things like Dynamax/gmax are far better integrated into the region itself by its own nature thanks to the fact that only happens in specific places which makes the mechanic meant to be used on fights that actually matter for the story. And once again, I don't hate megas, but if I had to choose a first place, gmax and dynamax are far better by comparison.
Sorry for the really long comment by the way, I use to write a lot sometimes XD.

I love mega evolution but I have one complaint which is that i hope there is like a sudo mega evolution that every pokémon can have it can give an omni boost or maybe a +2 to a single stat at the cost of a mega evolution for example wevile gets boosted attacks but at the cost of kangascan it can't mega evolved it's now useless

These are my honest opinions on all of them:
Tera- boring, bland and inaccessible/confusing for newcomers. Can lead to interesting matchups/interactions in Competitive but most of the audience don't play Competitive. It also can lead to some really boring and toxic strategies which fans of this gimmick don't want to point out. It's not actively bad (in most cases) but not very eye-catching.
Z Moves- Initially I thought these were gonna be really boring, because most of the attacking Z moves are, but then they revealed some of the unique Z Move animations and those really bumped up my appreciation for this gimmick. A lot of the special animations, whether that be for Incineroar or Necrozma or even Alolan Raichu are really cool and there are more unique Z Moves than you might first think. Additionally, a lot of the support Z-Moves (Z Destiny Bond, Z Celebrate etc) lead to some pretty cool and innovative strategies that were a lot more fun than big move go boom. Also important to note, the Z crystals were tied to the progression of Gen 7 and the alternative to Gym Badges which was really neat imo and makes your Trainer Card look pretty cool. Out of every gimmick they may not be the best, but they were best woven in to their region so far imo. Overall, I like this gimmick more than I thought I would, but still not perfect.
Dynamax- Dynamax can look really cool on some pokemon and look really *really* dumb on others. They did no favours in the initial reveal by picking some really stupid pokemon. Also, this gimmick was by far the most busted, not even close. It straight up broke singles and made doubles really boring. People who say Megas were more broken are literally on crack, there's a reason why Dynamax had to be banned in Singles format for the game to be playable. Gigantamax is a bit different though because I will admit... those designs are cool as hell. In fact, some of those designs I even prefer over the Mega Designs. These leads us to the main issue though, which is that the design philosophy for why they removed Megas in the first place was because "they didn't want a gimmick that gave preferential treatment to one pokemon over the other" (for some reason) and yet here, Gigantamax is them doing exactly that by giving Charizard and Pikachu even more forms. Also, that philosophy is incredibly stupid because it ignores what makes the gimmicks appealing in the first place. Things aren't special if EVERYONE can have them. That's why Terastylization feels so boring compared to Megas or even Gigantamax. The exclusivity IS the appeal. People asking for new Megas for old pokemon IS the appeal.
Megas- Perfect gimmick. The only "broken" mega was Mega Rayquaza because he could hold an item. Every other Mega was relatively balanced (Mega Kangaskhan was rightfully nerfed and then I think Megas overall were fine.) There isn't a single Mega design I dislike, the concept is great, the execution is great, the effect is great, its just great. It's easier with Mega Evolution to point out the small exceptions I don't like than to go on and on about all the stuff I do, so I'll just label them here: 1) I don't like how Mega Garchomp is weaker than Regular Garchomp. And 2) I wish there were more Mega Evolutions. Still to this day I find myself wondering, wouldn't it be cool to have a Mega Feraligatr. No other gimmick is like that.
Those are my overall thoughts, great video as always king.

Not considering competitive facts about these gimmicks Dynamax/Gigantamax is for sure my favorite! Gigantamax is kinda just like a huge mega evolution and it's just a lot more fun in general with the stadiums for gyms. Plus the gimmick was handled a lot better considering they were used by most if not every important battle!

So you're telling me the feature that you admitted is the most balanced, is accessible to every pokemon, makes battles more interesting, varied, and strategic, and doesn't take up an item slot is the worst because it's less visually appealing?

Gmax is terrible and unfair in singles. Plus the ability to hold items in dynamax. Stall or counter with your own dynamax to fight against them.

All gimmicks suck, if they wanted to add evolutions give all the 2 stage Pokemon a new Evo chain. I never used any of them in the game other than the tutorial. Megas look dumb make them seem like they are digimon digivolving from you watch. Z moves are stupid not worth anything. G-max does nothing really boosts your attack a bit. And terra is just a cheap way to manipulate types. So instead of making better new Pokemon and better games you just keep buffing up Pokemon that already exist with new powers. Like what was the deal with turning Pokemon into machines. That was 🤦 I'll stop now.
