I heard so much about the 1st runner up and her reaction being rude, I had to come see it for myself. Wow, people exaggerate. She was clearly disappointed, but hardly rude or lacking sportsmanship.
The 2nd runner up should have been Top 2. At least then, I could possibly understand the 1st runner up not winning the crown. The actual winner is all kinds of ready for Rupaul's Drag Race. It's very clear why she flopped at Miss Universe.
Todas as 3 finalistas são belas,porém para mim a nova Miss Universo Porto Rico seria Arroyo ou Cayey, pois alem de serem belas souberam responder mui bien, de qualquer forma muita sorte a nova miss Porto Rico 2013, muchas gracias!!!!!!

I know it’s a disappointment to come up first runner up, but if she couldn’t or chose not to hide her shock and disgust at not winning, she didn’t deserve to win! That was horrible and I was embarrassed to see her react that way

I was there...she DID NOT deserve to win...did you see how the other girls went to console Arroyo @4:05...Many in the audience as well as some of the judges were shocked. Many thought it was because she was a brown(er) skinned Puerto Rican that she didn't win. But trust me when I say, many did not pick the winner. It should've been Arroyo!

And to add to that...she was disappointed that she was called 1st runner up and that's why her expression was like that. When the cameras were off, many of the girls AND he judges went to speak with Miss Arroyo because they just like everyone else was shocked that she placed as runner-up. The winner was wisked away and only 4 girls congratulated her. I'm not sure how far she will make it in the Miss Universe Pageant but from where I was sitting, many were NOT impressed!
I totally agree with you there, I am very sorry to comment on this, but I think that this year's winner Miss Puerto Rico 2013 won't get very far this year either, Monica Perez and Bodine Koehler have a similar physical appearance in every way. and for that reason, I think that Miss Perez will fail to make it to the top 16 let along to the top 10.
Well she did make top 16 at Miss Universe. Too bad the first runner up never made it to Miss Universe. She looks so stunning in Miss USA 2018! Would’ve done well at Miss Universe had she competed.

Por favor, eso es para que Mayaguez y Cayey quedaran agarradas de manos, eran dos mujerones al lado de Arecibo y Arroyo. Era obvio que Miss Mayaguez no iba a llegar mas lejos con esa contestacion tan pesima a la pregunta, los nervios la traicionaron de mala manera. Pero de contestarla como debia, obtenia la corona.
Y tantos años después Arroyo volvió y se quedó pegá también 🤭
@@pedrovientos492 Yo creo que le hicieron una trastada a Arroyo porque se veia espectacular, mucho mejor ahora que en el 2013. No habia razon alguna para que no pasara al Top 15. Igual que la nueva ganadora, Miss Orocovis, se ve muchisimo mejor ahora que cuando compitio en el 2009.

Bueno esa morena queria la corona en verdad, pero la flaca era muy humilde, y la humildad llega lejos, y llegò...La sorpresa se la llevo la morena... creia pero al final no ganò, la reacciòn en su rostro fue muy egoista de su parte, con todo y su preparaciòn se lo merecia Arecibo!

Lol, she’s a loser. A big loser. She lost her title as miss Florida USA 2017 and placed top 5 the year later. She also competed in many more pageants

The crowing is so awkward - runner-up is left standing, someone should have given her flowers, so she does not look like a lost soul..trying to hold back tension and being runner up etc. Overall, the looks did not buy it for me for this years winner - but sometimes it not always the looks that wins Miss Universe crown - best wishes to Genesis.
