Just like calling a letter that's not on the used letter board on Wheel of Fortune, a player needs to understand that amid all of the pressure, you still need to make the correct decisions.
It's odd how Peter and the contestant talked about flying as that's what killed Peter and his wife. Peter was a pilot and the plane he was flying with his wife had engine problems right after take off and crashed. A mechanic had just did repairs to the plane but I guess he didn't repair it properly or there was another problem and it very sadly cost Peter and his wife their lives. I was very saddened when I heard as Peter was my favorite game show host and PYL was my all time favorite game show.
I still think she knew where they were going but just totally forgot she was in 3rd place. Yeah, she says she didn't know where they were going but it just sounded desperate, like she saw that excuse work for Dan so let me just say that and try to take back this really dumb move. She clarifies later that ok I'm in 2nd I can pass now. She's just fortunate she realized in time and while the judges were still willing to be lenient.
Did they bring Dan or Ralph back? She made a strategic blunder, and they allowed her to take it back. It seemed pretty unfair. She could have/should have asked, but didn't. If I were Ralph, I would have definitely asked a producer to see the rule book before heading to the parking lot.
I remember on another episode, a contestant wanted to change their mind and Peter said you can't, you already said pass. So how was this ok? If I were the other contestants, I would have been b**ching over this ruling!
She lucked out. There was an earlier episode where a player wanted to take back the spins they had passed, but the judges/Peter said no. Had the judges said no this time I think Dan or Ralph would have won.
Miriam, and indeed that's where she lost. She too tried to claim that she didn't know who they'd be passed to, but - seeing as that was her fourth day, I'm not sure I buy that one. But given that previous instance, I can only wonder why they allowed it this time.
Michael J. Kerkau I wonder if it was up to the judge(s), they could decide whether a contestant was genuinely confused or not, and go from there. Then maybe some point after this, they decided that once the spins are passed, they’re passed, just to avoid any and all confusion.

Doris herself buzzes in for the question, and Pied-Pipers the group into No Spins with her wrong answer. Then again, evidently none of those three have ever been to a milliner's.
