"Julius" from Phish "Star Lake 98" 2-DVD Set, recorded 8/11/98 at Star Lake Amphitheatre, Burgettstown, PA - released December 11, 2012 and available for pre-order now: bit.ly/starlake98
Don't care if they are underappreciated, always have endorphins popping listening to live Phish, what a great feeling. It's all that matters, life's been good to me so long.. Tanks for posting
He’s so tight and always in the pocket. But unlike lots of other drummers who are really tight, he’s not a robot- he is equally amazing at groove and feel as he is at being tight. Then if you throw in his crazy inventive technical prowess, it makes for the perfect combination!
They've gotten older lol. I still see them every chance I get though I agree the 90s were way better, but I still caught one of the best shows I've ever seen this year
The whole mix has like a bassyness that I've yet to hear on CZcams going thru Phish videos. And every instrument is equal volume too which is rare. Nearly any video or bootleg I've heard. Gordon is either inaudible or the loudest player up there. Page is louder than I'm used to hearing and I love it! Trey and Fish are usually up in the mix but not as thumpin and clear. Good Shit Indeed

Sad how far Trey has fallen since this time. The rest of band is still pretty much on point except for Trey. He couldn’t play this song today anywhere near like he could back then
Have you been to or seen/listened to anything from this summer tour? I’ve been to a couple of shows over the last 20+ years and this run is very reminiscent of the summer 97 tour. Long spacey jams, really tight sounding and just flat out firing on all cylinders. Not sure I can disagree with your statement if it was another time in the bands history, but right now they seem to be having as much fun as I can remember and playing about as well as I’ve ever personally heard. Give this tour a listen and let me know what you think man.
As age we slow down. Jerrymylitis was singing so many roads in the End.. it's different music is not a competition Jordan lebron James, Trey Jerry Trey vs Trey come now. Enjoy it you self.
