Aqua holding kana's glow stick by itself was so nice because he realized she needed that support the most
I think most people are misreading that moment yeah it helped her but she also dislikes that he also has Mem-cho's and Ruby's glowstick.

I strongly believe...Aqua has ALWAYS known they would need his support, in theblight or from the shadows. He may be hell bent on revenge murder, but episode 2 made it clear that he will NOT let his precious sister be taken advantage of or stumble and fall, not when he could do so etching about it. Now, he cares about Kana, too, but Kana's success is Ruby's success.
I am trying my damnedest to not read the manga, but I hope I get to see someone unknowingly suicidal mess with Ruby and find out how insane Aqua can be.
@@kallistikaleid I actually agree with you. However, I do think that aqua looks at Kana in a special light, he goes out of his way to do things for her, I think. It is of course for their success as a group but he even went as far as to imitate piyeon so that she would speak to him, you know? I think he likes her more than just a friend but won't try to date her because his goal can put her in danger too. I'm trying my best to not read the manga as well because I think that the ost, and animation really expresses what the characters are feeling in the moment and makes the viewers feel their emotions. I hope season 2 comes quickly because idk how long I can wait😂

It is the same move that Ai did in the dance the first time Aqua watched her as a baby.
Kana left him speechless by replicating Ai even without "stealing" her personality like Akane did.
So far two people able to imitate her appeared. Aqua from ep7 must feel pretty dumb now.
Watching Aqua cheering on Kana with the glowsticks is honestly my favourite part of this episode, such an amazing moment! I felt so happy for Kana that Aqua was there to support and cheer her on. And I know his support meant so much to her too
From the episode 1 where aqua and ruby cheered their mother is the reminiscence where aqua cheered kana in episode 11

Aqua was supporting the group. He will not let Ruby fail. He wants Kana to value herself again, seeing as how she is a brilliant actor. He cherishes MEM to some degree,having worked closely on a show, and they working with her to save Akane from self harm and becoming a possible social pariah.

I absolutely loved this episode, I almost cried for her , and aqua dancing and holding her light stick so high was so beautiful, and when the lyrics said I'll be your star we see her pointing to aqua it was so sweet
Aqua doing the dance with all three of the girls glowsticks was so nice! But also kinda funny as I dunno how the hell he managed to do it with the straight face, and I loved how with Kana’s expressions and the perspective on some of the scenes, it parallels the scene where Ruby and Aqua did it for Ai when they were little babies, hell, even that part of the song was the same part from episode one
The stage play being animated in season 2 is gonna be my way of coping for the fact that we'll probably never see an official animated version of Act Age in this life anymore

About the term Kana uses talking about Aqua ok so the term she uses is 箱推し (Hako oshi) now here 推し literally means "To push" but it got extended to mean "To support" so you would call your favorite in a group 推し (Oshi) or 推しの子 (Oshi no ko literally "The girl I support") now 箱推し refers to liking an idol group as a whole instead of a specific idol (Different from 誰でも大好き AKA "I like everyone") by waving all their colors he was saying "I support B-Komachi" instead of "I support Arima Kana" which makes her mad.
I'm kind of sad they cut "Slightly Enjoyable Job" where an idol watches their performance and is like "Well I did what I wanted to do after the novelty fades all that's left is a Slightly Enjoyable Job" and decides to quit it doesn't sound that good but it's really impactful.

As a manga reader just like with Kaguya-sama we are eating good today. Seeing the very very peak chapter. Seeing the season 2 announcement and seeing the best arc coming next just like season 3 of Love is War. Knowing that the next arc is going to be awesome with Kana and Akane being awesome especially Akane. One last thing is take a look at Akane's hairstyle especially the short one and enjoy one last time.
