They are worth every penny and such a blast, have a 2011 Zuma 125 and would seriously recommend it to anyone looking for cheap fun, reliable transportation!
Great review. I own a 2009&2011 Z125. They cannot be beat as far as local commuting goes. Where a 50cc could not keep up and a 250-400cc is too big fight lane spitting, this bike excels. These are just quick enough to keep up with pressure traffic and high speed enough to hit slower parkways and highways in metropolitan cities. Hold on to these. They will be worth a lot in the future.
That's a pretty cool bike! in 6 monts I am getting my own scooter a yamaha zuma I like these little scooters, a lot of people say that it rolls very soft and that it works very good! I really like traveling into places! it's a very fun toy to have! and I very like the colour that you have chosen it's a very cool colour! I will take between the colour black or orange! thanks for sharing.
good review bud ,..really keep up the good genuine. .ness....I've had many bikes ,..50 cc. .70 cc 100 twin .....all the way to 650 & 750....love all sizes I've had a 400 cc burgman scooter. ..love everything....now looking for a 125 bws...for camping ...that will make 6 in my stable. ..cheers bud
I have a 2013 blue version and love it, but, lime you said, you beg for more. I now own a 2014 Honda Forza nss300, nut still like to ride my zuma. It is a bit more uncomfortable compared to my honda, but it costs way less. These are designed to where you can do a little bit of off roading, but I wouldn't recommend too much, though. I am planning on getting a louder exhaust in order to be heard while riding this. The only modification I have done is add a trunk and carrier bracket, but both match the bike and look like factory oem stuff. Thanks.
Just bought mine back in May. Really like it but will most likely replace it next year on a larger scooter since my wife usually rides along. We just need a little more for longer rides. Nice job on the video!
Guy Guidone Thanks! I expect to keep mine for another year or so and upgrade to a larger motorcycle as well. The Zuma seems to handle passengers adequately for short rides.
Great scooter Only problem textured seat vinyl retains water after rain shower Seat angle is also sloped downward results in you sliding forward on nose of seat
Hello, YamaChicken. I just upgraded my 2009 Zuma 50 to a 2013 Zuma 125 a couple of years ago. I really have enjoyed riding it. I’m sorry that you haven’t done anymore videos. I’m not sure if you’ve upgraded to a motorcycle, quit riding all together, or just not working with video anymore. Anyway, best of luck.
binh ho outside of the U.S. I'm not aware of the laws.....most states in the U.S. you'll need an endorsement for anything over 50cc. Anything under 50CC, all you need is your drivers license. A temporary endorsement is super easy to get and lasts you for a year, but comes with restrictions. No riding at night, no passenger, and a couple others which aren't a big deal. For the permanent endorsement (no restrictions) you'll take a riding test, which was a breeze on this scooter. But check your local laws, don't take my word for it!
+hodgism Yup! Your headlight is key to safety while riding. I've never had cars flash me during the day. Look at other motorcycles when you pass them, their running lights are very bright. The zuma doesn't have much to work with, so I go high beam. In the evening/night I will run regular beam.

Good point on the seat angle .. Would be better if it would be sloped a bit less.
Yes very good point! You will have a wet behind after a rain
