What is Roblox? ROBLOX is an online virtual playground and workshop, where kids of all ages can safely interact, create, have fun, and learn. Even after Piggy fell off, I will always be grateful to Minitoon for letting the story end and for not extending it for the sake of fame. Also, unlike many games nowadays, it wasn't a cash grab. It just had one game pass, after all, and he was also incredibly friendly and engaged in the community. Probably one of the nicest and best developers for those reasons.

When I heard that there was going to be no more chapters it hit me hard like a truck. I spend days playing it and almost crying when zizzy was left like bunny. Every once and a while I watch old videos of people reacting to the new chapters for the old memories.

I know that piggy is over but I still have questions. What happened to Willow's brother. What happened to m.r p? The insolence. There's a lot of questions left unanswered but I really love this game. It's now a part of my childhood and I would never forget the happy memories I've shared playing this game

Piggy was the reason I played Roblox again since I lost two of my accounts. I heard about this game called “Piggy”, and I made an account. I started playing in 2020 in the pandemic but I quit Piggy when it reached Book 2 since I couldn’t beat the first three chapters. This was the time I lost another account, but that account was mainly for Piggy and I keep remembering. I tried to replay the entire Piggy story in 2021-2022 on my channel, and still am but not quite how much I used to do it. Piggy was literally the head start of my Roblox playing in the pandemic. I had a lot of fun and it’s just sad to see the Piggy game ending, but it don’t last forever. Sure, we will have Intercity but I don’t really care about that as it isn’t like Piggy anymore. This reminded of data issues . I remember back then Mr P was like a nightmare mode dark souls boss fight for me . And the players are apart of the bossfight AND WHEN I GOT IT . WOW DATA GONE . and the sad thing as that i tried getting it again . AND IT DOESN’T EVEN WORK .

The thing is, the thing that kept people going was the hype about the new chapters and lore etc. Once book 2 chapter 12 came out and the Hidden Ending was found there was nothing left to do in the game. If Minitoon continued to work on it, it'd still be alive. It didnt really die though.
Listen its better. Because he already knows this game was gonna die . If you think about it . New players wouldn’t like this game so whats the point . Thats why minitoon made a whole new game . Whole different idea . So we can get new players on the game

I feel like minitoon wanted the game to die, it kept getting repetitive and honestly I agree even though I love piggy hood things come to an end, I think the game should end but the story continue
as a professional piggy speedrunner, i wholeheartedly agree yet i think its mainly just because the original release blew up everywhere and once you got to book 2 the people that only came when it first blew up had long gone and maybe checked out a new chapter once in a while but the people who actually cared about piggy stayed.

I stayed, but I prefer Book 1. It was more fun. In Book 2, Lore completely knocked off gameplay and fun, and even the remaining gameplay was too hard.
@@popkorn6844it seems that I'm the only one who actually likes piggy book 2 more than piggy book 1. In my opinion things started to get interesting from piggy book 2 the only thing that is not so good about it is the hard maps but other than it's really interesting
For me, it was that the Insolence wasn’t an appealing storyline. Piggy started out as a game about human error, but it then turned into a tale of the paranormal that overtook Mr.P’s character arc and errors. It’s not for me. I really enjoyed Willow’s story and wish it would’ve been the main focus. Her Redemption Arc has a similar plot to Mr.P’s; desperate due to the fear of losing someone/actually losing someone and being driven to redeem themselves by confronting their past mistakes. In Mr.P’s case, it was fighting the infected and, in Willow’s, it was trying to save Zizzy. It would’ve been easy to carry over the main feel of Piggy’s storyline into Book 2, but it felt overtaken by the Insolence storyline.
i personally stopped playing after book 2 chapter 1 and only looked at the lore breakdowns as the game got a little to hard for me

Just because the game has fallen in overall player count doesn't mean that it has "fallen off." The players that still do play it are dedicated to the game, and there are 100s of fan art posted to Twitter every week. Just because it looks like the community has fallen in player, doesn't mean it has fallen. The peek was 500k because it was in the limelight at the time after the award it received

the game itself isnt dead the community is, the game still averages around 20k which is pretty good for a roblox game that gets no updates, i'd say the game would be dead if they had 2k or less players
the release date of book 1 chapter 12 was probably one of the best days of my life, because it was my birthday, and i was (and still am) loving piggy and it was overall just amazing.

I'm absolutely obsessed with this game. I still play it a lot. It's my favorite. I see why some people could have quit after Book 2 was released. But at the same time, I don't. The story of each chapter was definitely worth the wait, the characters were so much more fleshed out, and the amount of mysteries that STILL remain to this day is amazing.
I cried watching this. All the memories.. God. I miss 2020 sometimes. Yet, it is best to move on.

I remember joining when metro came out. I was absolutely heart broken when minitoon said the game would stop getting updates. But I probably would've quit anyways. I had a huge amount tokens and every purchasable skin, including tio. It had been quite a journey with piggy...

I think that what made people stop playing piggy is how the maps became kinda hard to beat in most public servers especially the true endings

I could say Piggy's player count is going down a bit, since there will not be any more updates. But I don't think it will die, just because some kids still play for fun and Build Mode is a big reason why people are still online! It is really sad how Piggy ended, and I can't wait for Intercity and the rest of MiniToon's projects like IA2! Loved the video!

Never gonna forget this game, I played this game for a lot of time but when ready player two ended, I just lose all the motivation playing the game since they added seasons (I quitted since book 2 chapter 4) and came back playing it just for the rb battles event (like ready player 2, I won’t gonna miss this game it had a nice story from a kids show and become very popular, but remember not everything can be the same they are subject to change
Man, the only person I know that really plays this game anymore is my little cousin. To be honest, I really liked playing it in book 1, but book 2 just felt less fun.

I stopped play the game was because of the three years that I need to prepare for national exams to graduate, but that three year grow weary on me that I less feel like to play the game, but yes I did stayed there since the factory one , and my favorite character is the poley
You can’t be a piggy fan if you’ve never started playing during the alpha days.
I played Piggy since there was only the House map, and it still is my favorite game on Roblox. I don't know how long that statement will last, but I will always remember the incredible journey this game went through. I still come back to it from time to time just to enjoy beating the maps. I believe there is talk about a book 3 happening, collaborating with a developer of a fangame and a whole new game being developed by minitoon and his team. I don't really care how big these future events get honestly, all that matters is if I enjoy them.
If there was one thing i could do, it’s wishing i played this game more in its prime.

I remember watching the full 6 hours of Kreek's stream for Piggy Book 2 Chapter 12. I thought back to first playing the game when there were only 4 chapters in the game. :( R.I.P Piggy
The fanmade stuff for piggy was really cool but the quest for the hunt was so difficult and you had the standard you die once you gotta wait till it starts over, you had to go through two maps finding codes and coordinates and it was so so difficult in public servers, my friend got it and I gave up.
The piggy music is so relaxing and nostalgic and it’s kinda sad to hear it every time because it brings back memory’s. Thanks MiniToon. We’re so grateful for piggy.
I feel like people stopped playing it because it’s just getting old. I got into piggy roughly around chapter 7, and I was really hyped for the second book at the time. The first two chapters of a work exciting, but it just got old after the fourth or fifth one and most people just stopped playing it because I got old but like me.
Really hope somebody sees this comment cuz Id love to have a discussion about this. But, the fact that Piggy stole Granny's entire concept while using Peppa Pig IP is literally insane to me. It got its own toy line that was separate from ROBLOX toylines and the original developer of Granny didn't get make any merch for granny, i don't even think he put a copyright or anything over it seeing as his entire concept got stolen and popularized. It's insane. I loved playing piggy when it first came out but i couldn't help but notice how it was literally Granny with Peppa Pig characters, even the death sound effect itself is taken from granny,

Some might consider piggy outdated and dead, but those people don’t realize just how impactful this game was. I remember me and my friends just being so invested in finding the true ending of chapter one. Piggy was the true MVP of the pandemic.
I started playing piggy around chapter 2s release. It was such a big game when it came out and I remember servers would get so crowded and people were genuinely having fun. It’s too bad the way it ended I stopped playing after the last chapter for piggy season 1. I tried getting into season 2 but the maps were confusing to me and I couldn’t really navigate them. Even though it was short lived it will definitely be a roblox game I’ll never forget

It was just a game with no story, but as it developed it started getting a story and people only played for that story. Once the story ended or kinda got boring we all left

also another thing i'd say contributed to piggy's downfall was roblox having a bad year, i think most of us can agree that 2021 was a pretty major step down from 2020 (opening way for the INCREDIBLY MAJOR step down that was 2022)

I don't think Piggy is necessarily "dead" because it still has a fair number of players. And plus, Intercity is the continuation of Piggy, so on my eyes, it's still in popularity and will have more players once it comes out!

For me, I was already a huge fan of Granny (even though I was to afraid to even attempt the game) and when I saw this game I just knew I had to try it out mainly because the game wasn’t to scary and looked fun, after playing the game and learning it’s story I was hooked instantly, the game had characters that showed real emotion, there were ups & downs and the story felt greatly played out. The concept seemed perfect for me, but after some time when the last chapter of piggy came out in Book 1, I stopped playing the game and slowly left it’s community, and almost completely forgot the game existed. Until I saw it’s merchandise being sold at Walmart one day, I obviously didn’t get it, mainly because I didn’t want it. But I will never forget Minitoon and his creation and his huge commitment & community along with it.❤

No hate but this game created a very annoying era where most developers refused to think out of the box. Most games at the time were literally the same thing like Bacon, Guesty, etc.. they had the same mechanics and everything. Every game was just a Piggy reskinned. It ruined the horror genre on Roblox, I can only thank god for The Mimic's extreme rise of popularity for reshaping the genre or else we would still be getting the same ol repetitive story and piggy games.
The Mimic had Piggy inspiration as well (though, it turned out to be a much different game) but either way, it didn't get Roblox horror out of that era.
Piggy clones died when Piggy died, simple as that. Just as how when newer games like Weird Strict Dad dies, its many clones will also die

I was one of the people who got the True ending badge when it was very popular. I wanted it to end in the TRUE ending but there was a new Book , Book 2 I rarely played it actually. Im Glad he stopped after book 2 he could've extended it for more money and etc but he didnt so respect for him

No more Piggy contact, except for the ones who still appreciate Piggy like me after all these years and time pass, Piggy is still like a legend to Roblox. Even on 12 September on my birthday, Piggy book 2 came out it's like a birthday gift from Minitoon. Chapters like Plant, Factory, Heist, Distraction and Lab made me feel like
sad on the inside. In two years on 2025, all beloved Roblox piggy players will need to celebrate for 5 years of Piggy. We all love playing Piggy ever since the Virus is getting worst in 2020. 3 years later Piggy is still a challenge for everyone. I just made new friends while playing Piggy

I used to play piggy so much. I started in April 2020, when it was getting kinda popular on Likee, which I used a lot. I met someone on there and we used to roleplay Piggy together. I was Penny and they were Georgie. Sadly, they left Likee because of their parents and also left the piggy community, probably because it was dying(it was like late 2021 or early 2022, I think.). I still like Piggy to this day, and I really miss when it was popular.
Thanks for reminding me, I played ever since the alpha update came in, and it's been years non stop. I understand minitoons pain.

I am considering myself as an og since I played at piggy around chapter 9, sadly piggy was condemned to the forgotten games hole, even if it haven’t died totally, it will happen sadly.

As a player who played the og prime piggy in the summer I played it every day and had so much fun. But after Chapter 2, it didn’t feel the same, and I quit. I will never forget the fun moments I had in this game!

If I had to pick my 3 favorite moments of Piggy’s life, they would be:
-Gap between Book 1 and Book 2(so many theory videos!)
-Spooky Hunt 2020(Release of Mr Stitchy and other iconic Halloween skins)
-Book 2 Hidden Ending(Kreek and Devoun)
I would have put the Book 1 True Ending on there, but it wasn’t that impactful, as it just gave a few answers and it was over fairly quickly. And for people who ask why Spooky Hunt 2020 was there, it’s because I had a lot of fun getting the skins and getting the spookiest skin of that time.
Piggy from chapter 1 to chapter 12 in book 1 was the prime piggy. Book 2 wasnt that cool to me

I'm so grateful for everything Minitoon did, I liked him so much. To me, I quit because, the story ended and the gameplay wasn't so enjoyable anymore. Also quit because another fandom flooded my mind so I moved on. I miss this game, but if I came back, I won't feel like 2020 again and I feel like the players don't seem so engaged in it.
