  • The Xiaomi Mi 10T Pro 5G has just launched globally, in the Mi 10T Series 5G live launch! In this video, I talk through my usage since the unboxing in a full in-depth, walkthrough review, of all the features and my impressions after 1 week of real everyday use. It has a Qualcomm Snapdragon 865 chipset, 144hz refresh rate 6.67" FHD+ AdaptiveSync LCD display, a 108MP triple Camera, and 8K video. It's great for gaming, like PubG, Fortnite and Call Of Duty (COD) with its powerful benchmark test scores, stereo speakers, 5000 mAh Battery capacity, and up to 8GB Ram and 256GB of UFS 3.1 Storage! 33W Fast charging, but no wireless or reverse wireless charging. It's some great flagship features, and a premium build, with gorilla glass and aluminium construction! Its running on Android 10, with MiUI 12 over the top! This is no headphone jack, no amoled, but considering the Mi 10T Pro is price is in the mid range, you get so much for your money! Videos soon vs Samsung Galaxy S20 FE, OnePlus 8T and Google Pixel 5!
    The pricing along with more information about both phones will be revealed during the UK launch live stream, which you can tune into at 2PM on Monday 19th October. Link here - bit.ly/3j2cHGY

    For those complaining that it is not OLED, what Xiaomi has done is use a quality LCD display that can dynamically move between three refresh rates. They would not have been able to do this with OLED as they probably had no access to LTPO displays. Like Apple, having 120Hz with no dynamic magic means a 20% hit on battery, so a sensible decision. Samsung decided to give us the cheap 120Hz on the S20U and aided by the Exynos and 5g, it kills my battery more than an iPhone SE2.
    Wait until next year when the supply is there to use dynamic OLED, do not put sales ahead of user-experience, the Mi 10T Pro shows that Xiaomi cares more for consumers than Samsung does, so this deserves to sell well.

      @andyH_England Před 3 lety +7

      @@questionyourself718 They could have done that but many Android fans trolling Apple because they have no higher refresh rate so 60Hz was never going to happen. As for 90Hz, that is less destructive on the battery but as OEMs are moving to 144Hz to please the teen market that plays games, 90Hz just will not sell phones.

    I'm planning to get this phone for my mom but I don't like how many phone makers these days are moving the fingerprint reader on to the side. It's actually harder to reach than if it were at the back of the device and you could much more easily use either your pointer finger or middle finger to unlock. I've tried a Redmi Note 9S with the reader on the side and it sucks. Nowhere near as easy as my Redmi Note 8 Pro.

      *Someone judging a phone's screen on the basis of it being AMOLED or not is same as judging a smartphone's camera on the basis of MEGAPIXEL COUNT*
      I wonder why people are finding this hard to believe because time has certainly changed. Today, no AMOLED screen comes with a 60 hz panel and the faster refresh rate AMOLED panels comes with butt tons of bugs and software issues. I'm saying this because of my personal experience. I bought which was called the "Best Display On An Android Smartphoned" during launch - OnePlus 8 Pro. And boy, it has so many number of display issues :
      1. Green Tint / Red Tint
      2. Black Crush
      and what not. Most of them are software bugs and can be fixed but in my 3 months of smartphone's usage, none of them got fixed. And so, to tone down those issues, what companies do is *increase the minimum brightness* to an extent that your eyes are going to burn as hell if you use the smartphone at night.
      So, no screen come with their own cons. AMOLED screen may be better at some points but definitely not GODLIKE.I would happily pick a slight downgraded screen than AMOLED if it doesn't come with so many display issues.

      @@nSackStyles I disagree, I used to rock the S7 edge for 4 years and no problems whatsoever with the screen. Now, I'm using the Note20U. There is no denying that Oled tech is far superior than LCD. A company like apple that is extremely cautious before moving onto something new has ditched lcd in favour of Oled too. Oled is just the way forward especially when it comes to mobile screen technology. This is nothing like comparing with MP counts!

    • @nSackStyles
      @nSackStyles Před 3 lety +1

      @@irfanpatel98I can disagree with you in so many ways.
      1. " I used to rock the S7 edge for 4 years and no problems whatsoever with the screen."
      Ans. It's an OLED 60 hz panel which is no doubt far superior than LCD. But is someone looking for 60 hz display these days?
      2. "A company like apple that is extremely cautious before moving onto something new has ditched lcd"
      Ans. It's the year 2020 mate. I bought Galaxy S6 in 2015 and that had an OLED display with no issue at all.
      My point is Apple is just a very bad example to prove your point. It's a company that is prone to criticism so they do whatever they want.
      And also, they finally released introduced AMOLED - in the YEAR 2020 - that to a 60 hz AMOLED.
      3. "This is nothing like comparing with MP counts!"
      I know you say this with confidence by only looking at the recent past but time was different a decade ago.
      Back in 2010, when i bought the Sony ericsson xperia x10, cameras in smartphone started growing at a rapid pace and the only thing that mattered back then, was MEGAPIXELS. A smartphone having an 8 MP camera was a clear winner over a lower MP count. Megapixels overlooked most other things such as Image processing software, camera sensor etc.
      Today, looking at how many bugs AMOLED has these days, It reminds me heavily of that time. If you had to bear with Black Crush issue for 3 months, you would understand my point.

      @irfanpatel98 Před 3 lety

      @@irfanpatel98 Problem's not down to OnePlus devices mate. It's down to AMOLED screen with higher refresh rate as they are not perfect at all. OnePlus? Asus? even Samsung? You name it and most smartphone do come with at least few software issues.
      So my point being AMOLED screen are no longer perfect and something which every customer should aim for. LCD panels these day give you stunning display at not a hefty disadvantage.
