EXACTLY. I love CLC and Gidle but Senorita and No are both meh in my books.
I really like Senorita as is, but I agree it didn’t hit me as hard as Hann did. What I love about this mashup is that it gives No more of a melody, which it doesn’t really have.

Soyeon produced both songs, and the structure of them pretty much identical. The slow(?) start, pre-chorus, rap sections in the same parts of both songs, and both end with a dance break. It's no surprise they both match as well as they do.
@@vacationbonerschool Agree with you. Both songs have the same structure, and both made by Soyeon, so with the same structure, Soyeon made both CLC version (with more electronic musics) to become "No" and (G)I-dle version (with latin instruments) to become "Senorita"
I personally think (G)I-DLE's and CLC's styles clash a little, making them fight for the same audience as CUBE doesn't have the same "company following" as some bigger ones have. With their recent comebacks luckily they have separated them a bit, but I think CUBE did a mistake by debuting (G)I-DLE so close to Black Dress.

@@zacvarg3530 yes, soyeon produced both of the songs (she co-produced no with yeeun if i'm not mistaken), this explains why the structure and chord progression of the song are really similar. but i can't deny that soyeon is really talented, both songs are bops, and so is this mash up! the break dance mix is amazing!

The extra beat makes the rap sound really nice. It's my least favorite part in Senorita because the beat just doesn't go
go watch react to the k’s video about the rap in senorita and you’ll actually learn why the rap is genius and musically incredible. seriously soyeon is so musically knowledgeable the average person wouldn’t be able to appreciate it

Wow this worked really well. Good job! It's clear that Soyeon has her own style. I know that it's not everyone's cup of tea, but I love how different her style is in structure and layering. I also love how unafraid she is to branch out from mainstream conventions. RIP Soojin and Miyeon's lines in this though.

I am not exactly a Cheshire, but Yeeun is kinda my bias, and hearing her rap when my (G)I-DLE bias Shuhua is backing her up, just SLAYED me. Perhaps we cannot have a full CLC x (G)I-DLE comeback, but we've seen with Triple H that CUBE doesn't mind creating sub-groups. Maybe we might ever have a sub-group composed out of CLC and (G)I-DLE members!
