I don’t know the timing of this song, but I recently got dumped by my gf of 13months.
She asked for some space due to stress from work and her family in late March. 2w later I got a notification from her and it was just telling me she’s breaking up with me.
No context, no explanation, no phone call, no talking face to face and resolving the issue together, just a plain text.
She blocked me everywhere and doesn’t even answer her door when I tried seeing her at her apartment.
This was my first relationship, I had so many questions and none were answered, never got that closure. Downed my sorrow and pain with alcohol. I was depressed for a while til I came across this specific song from NEFFEX.
It helped me a lot. So thank you for creating this song.
