Even if it is. It would be extremely strange to have such a small quantity of Cenozoic animals in game that has a huge quantity of Mesozoic animals.
And yes I know that both Dimetrodon & Dunkleosteus are Paleozoic aka the most underrated era ever.
I know the Zoo Tycoon Dinosaur Digs expansion only had 4 Cenozoic animals in there while the rest of them were dinosaurs. There are 2 more with the bonus downloads but that's pretty much it. So this wouldn't be the first time I've seen something like this.

@@IndonesianBallProduction If they choose to not make megalodon look like a great white then cretoxyrhina could steal the design. Cretoxyrhina also had certain features that make it stand out like it's abnormally large eyes and supposed immense aggression given what we've found in its stomach as well as bites discovered on other animals. Stethacanthus being an underwater compy would also be fantastic. Unique feeding animations for the larger creatures and unique pack animations for stetha

I hope they add kelps and underwater terrain tools (elevation) too. The flat surface of the lagoon floors is so boring.

If it is a Cenozoic Pack, I'm hoping for a Terror bird. Megatherium would be nice too, and it introduces a new rig to the game for modders to use, just like how the Smilodon and the Mammoth would.

I know it may be a Cenozoic pack, but here are my predictions:
Megalodon
Smilodon
Terror Bird (either Keleken, Phorusrhacos or Titanis)
Woolly Mammoth
For the mammoth, it would also work in middle range temps, especially if they note that it's a technical hybrid of different mammoth/mastodon species to create a full genome. Would even cover the tropical with different genomes there. Also, the Mammoth appeared on the gate for Camp Cretaceous, and, I believe, is the only one from that which didn't actually appear in the series
Another animal that may or may not be in the pack would be the Dire Wolf since it's mentioned in Evolution of Claire as something that they were working on before they got the DNA for the Mosasaurus

I am okay with the shark, cause prehistoric aquatic creature goes brrr, but the rest just doesn't fit.
I hope its a Cenozoic Pack, I really want the Smilodon to be in the game. If it is, they could add Smilodon, Megalodon, Woolly Mammoth and for the fourth creature they could add either a Phorusrhacid (Terror Bird) or another type of mammal (maybe something like an Arsinoitherium or a Megacerops).

I hope it's either a Fan Fav Pack with Plateosaurus, Hatzegopteryx or Rhamphorhynchus and Microceratus or a Coastal Pack with Ichthyovenator, Hatzegopteryx or Rhamphorhynchus and Dakosaurus.
Just to remind you that if Smilodon does appear in this game this will not be the first frontier game to feature it unbelievably it actually first appeared in frontiers Kinectimals as the final cub to find in the game.

Personally I don't think Evolution 2 is going to end just yet let's just be honest this game is still making lots of cash for Frontier and also next-gen consoles have not yet been released so let's just be honest Frontier is probably waiting for next-gen consoles for evolution 3 to release on. If I were Frontier I would wait till the ps6 and the next Xbox release before releasing Evolution 3.

I think it’ll be megalodon, mammoth, smilodon, and argentavis.
So hear me out: with other period packs, there would sometimes be a representative from each of the attraction types. Land, sea, and air. Sea and land are covered, but what about the aviaries? My bet for the fourth species: Argentavis.
If this is going to be a Cenozoic pack, I feel we should have a Paleozoic pack after that since we already have Dimetrodon and Dunkleosteus.
In a potential Paleozoic Pack I would like to see Anomalocaris, Arthropleura, Gorgonops and Tiktaalik appear in it.
Cenozoic pack would be great. I love mammoths and terror birds. And I don't think it would be crazy to have these creatures in this game see as we have jurassic world mobile
I hope it's a deep-marine pack, with more lagoon species. If it is a Cinezoic, that's still cool, but I'll just be buying it for the Megalodon 🤗
They could do dodos so compys can fight
But yes megalodon could be confirmed and also smilodon has high chance to come in the game because of camp cretaceous but even that smilodon was a big deal even the woolly mammoth is a big deal

While i do hope its a Cenozoic Pack i also kinda hope its something like a Prehistoric Sharks Pack or a mixed pack with Prehistoric Sharks and Whales. What animals could be in such a pack? well for Prehistoric Sharks you could do Megalodon, Cretoxyrhina, Helicoprion(we deserve more Paleozoic creatures) and Otodus, as for Whales and Sharks? Megalodon, Helicoprion, Basilosaurus and Livyatan.

If this indeed going to be a Cenozoic pack, I think Paraceratherium could also be a good candidate, considering how unique of a mammal it is and how much it could be animated/programmed like some of the currently existing sauropods. Although these next ones would not be my top choices, I could also see Doedicurus and either Argentavis/Pelagornis functioning in the game, respectively using similar animations/mechanics as the ankylosaurs and pterosaurs.
The meg saber tooth and mammoth would be a given and Ive loved terror birds ever sense I saw it in prehistoric park I’d love to see some others like Gigantopithecus but that would require a new model and I’d prefer the saber tooth anyways

I would think they would probably go with well known. Clearly the Meg, Smilodon and Wolly Mammoth also make sense with connections to camp Cretaceous. The fourth, if it's a Cenozic pack which is what everyone is predicting, I would probably say a Wolly Rhinoceros would likely be the fit. It's well recognized, and blends in with Wolly Mammoth and Smilodon in their perceived habitats of cooler climates. A possible alternative might be a Dodo, as a possibly a Cenozoic scavenger. Not as threatening as a terror bird, but could fill a cenozoic nitch since most birds will eat plants and animals, even if it's not large enough to hunt setting it up as a possible scavenger for the game. If you then create a cenozoic era preserve or ecosystem, you have your carnivore, herbivore and scavenger to help "maintain balance".

I think it’s most likely a Cenozoic pack and that the Meg will be the star of said pack. Smilodon and Siberian Mammath will be sure in’s , and I think you are spot on about the terror bird it technically is a type of dinosaur and it has feathers, so one Big a** shark two mammals and a Dino descendant
I’d like megalodon of course woolly mammoth animals of the Cenozoic as well but with all of our swimming creatures we already have land creatures we already have air creatures we already have I would like to see some more of The reptiles and amphibians like Giant newts, salamanders, frogs and toads crocodiles and snakes

Yeah I’m pretty sure it is Cenozoic era that’s gonna be interesting to see if mammoth is gonna have a very unique kill animation, smildon as well, wooly rhino and megalodon as well
The Meg needs to rival the size of the Mosa and be able to kill it, I’m so tired of everything being smaller than the Mosa and nothing being able to kill it (if something can kill it lmk I don’t usually have my aquatics fight)

Even though that there is no actual evidence yet of this dlc, I find it to be quite interesting if it’s going to include Smilodon, Mastodon, Megalodon, and even Haast’s eagle.
Who knows what other upgrades could come along in a dlc like that. 😊

What I'm waiting for is to intro a whole slew of flightless and flying prehistoric birds. That way it could fit with the whole egg system............

OK hear me out, I think this is going to be another aquatic pack and we’re going to get an expansion at the end of the year titled “the future expansion” or something like that. It’s going to be based around the very real idea of resurrecting ice age megafauna. The reason it’s going to be called the future is not because of the very real future that we live in now where we are probably going to resurrect these species, but it’s going to be a very warm goodbye to this game, and they’re going to announce the date for the next game at the very end of this campaign.

11:11 probably not gonna be the terror bird because in a JWE2 DLC, you will get a marine species, a carnivorous species, and a herbivorous so my likely guesses is Argentavis or Pelagornis of the flying species since terror bird didn’t fly.

I don't understand why some people are so against having mammals in the game. Just because Prehistoric Kingdom already has them, doesn't mean JWE2 can't include them too. I trust the developers to make the models fit well in JWE2, so I'm really not worried. I don't like it when players try to control what shouldn't be in the game. If the developers want to add mammals, they will!
If someone doesn't like mammals, they won't play with them. It's not complicated. There are numerous species in the game already, and some I really don't particularly enjoy, so I don't include them in my park.

There are 26 connon critters not in the game. I dont expect all to come but i feel like some should got in.

They need to bring Paleoloxodon Nimadicus to the game. The Largest Land Mammal to ever live. And the only one large mammal that can flat out kill a large Theropod.
I'm hoping we get a new lagoon feeder for the megalodon since it would be cool if they added it since megalodon eaten small whales and other small sharks
