In 1973 I was 16 and was given Dark side of the moon for my birthday and it changed my life forever!!! I liked Roger Waters lyrics but I loved David Gilmours guitar licks and I was hooked. Every new album that’s what I needed to hear. Thank you Pink Floyd!!! I’m 66 now and I still love you and your music. Definitely the best birthday gift I ever got.

This concert was one of the biggest motivations to keep on making music myself.
David Gilmour has the vibe of a bloke just popping off to the corner shop to buy a loaf of bread then plays the greatest emotional guitar solos ever.
If God played the guitar this is what it would sound like ❤️ he's a legend.
I bumped into him in a London cafe 10 years ago.. we had a chat whilst drinking our coffee from plastic cups..

I saw this Concert at Western Springs in Auckland Aotearoa, . At one point just before they came on, sitting on the hill looking down the stage disappeared in a cloud of smoke as 50,000 people lit up. Apart form the burning bed the highlight was a star that drifted down above the stage during Wish You Were Here , as Gilmour plucked the final acoustic note the star faded and 70,000 people went "ohhhhhhhhh".
Without Pink Floyd, pop/rock music would be like Egypt without pyramids, like Saturn without rings.

Yo no pude asistir personalmente pero aún recuerdo esa noche en un bar de Malaga que pusieron una pantalla gigante para poder verlo ...Televisión Española organizadora también del concierto lo retransmitía en directo....Esa aventura se prolongó luego después en otro concierto en Marruecos...más concretamente en las afueras de Marrakech...en el desierto....Por Malaga pasaron muchas personas que habían optado por verlos en Marruecos....seguramente con los efluvios de Ketama...

I'm 60 years old and I've known PF for longer, but I started listening more intensely after I saw a fantastic performance by Roger Waters in November 2023. Anyone who has never heard PF, I recommend you run, run, run, run and start listening . You'll be comfortably impressed by David Gilmour's stunning guitar solos.
Ho avuto la fortuna di vederli dal vivo 2 volte, nel lontano 1988 a Roma, nel tour A Momentany Lapse Of Reason, poi nel 1994 a Modena nel tour The Division Bell, davvero indimenticabili, per me la migliore band al Mondo, la loro musica ti entra davvero dentro l,anima
Purtroppo ormai sono "estinti" almeno dagli ultimi "successi" proposti... escluso Roger Waters che ancora propone qualcosa di interessante...li critico ma ascolto sempre i vecchi LP...adoro il lavoro del grande Nick Mason che racconta la Storia fella Band. 👍

I'm italian. I had 14 years old at that time and i was there with my father and my uncle for an holiday in Venice. I remember the music was deafening. He entered in the bones... Great concert and unforgettable evening.
Solo un visionario come Massimo Cacciari poteva ospitare nella laguna di Venezia una delle poche band mondiali di pregio, di qualità e di visione.
Mi scusi se mi permetto ma massimo Cacciari forse era l'unico a non volere i Pink Floyd! Non ci metto i cittadini comuni ma come personaggio famoso lui era contrario! L'indomani si presentò in piazza San Marco per confermare quello che poteva succedere! Però è stato un gran concerto tanto è vero che l'indomani piazza San Marco era già pulita!

Come può un modesto concerto, a maggior ragione un concerto Top, esibirsi in una delle "Piazze" piu importanti e nobili del'intero pianeta senza le necessarie e vincolanti autorizzazioni, in primo luogo quella del Sindaco pro-tempore dell'epoca? I've seen Floyd multiple times live. My best experience was Lazer Floyd at the Cinesphere in Toronto in the late 80's. All hopped up on the finest! Run was an epic experience.

Floyd, Venice. Pure magic, what more could you ask for? Magnus opus from start to finish. Eternally grateful I saw them during the Division Bell tour, brilliant. Camped out all night to get tickets, totally worth it.

Tive o primeiro contacto com a música dos Pink e no Verão de 1972 em Toronto. Em 1973 assisti ao lançamento do seu icónico album The Dark Side of the Moon, ba Primavera de 1973. Hoje mais de 50 depois contínuo a ouvir a dos génios Pink Floyd com o mesmo entusiasmo e prazer.

Pink Floyd has helped me over the years to keap my mind . When young i had alcohol and drug issues . I understand Sid . I wish so much for him if still alive to find peace. . I full well know depression Music saved me. Not some dam shrink.

I love that the organizers actually credited Rick Wright as an official band member, despite him technically still being a salaried musician here, since Roger Waters fired him in '79 and he'd only be able to be reinstated in the 90's. It's like they're saying: "Hey, we know, but come on 😉"
