Be careful drywalling without a permanent foundation. Those walls serve a purpose of allowing the home to shift. People who drywall MH on non-permanent foundation are more prone to cracks. Just something to keep in mind. 😊
Our home is in a community, it came with drywall, no problems.
Put the boys in the master bedroom, you and dad in the Jack and Jill the littles in the other Jack and Jill. The room off the second living room homes school room. No wall removal. or reconstruction . When some of the kids are gone you get your master bed back. You’re gonna run into some re-wiring with all those plans
i agree ! my husband is a builder i am not but this makes sense to me
I had a friend that did a wrap around porch on there trailer. In the back she did wood on bottom and screen end on top with shutters. Had a wood fire place on one end and a bed. So when one of her many kids needed alone especially when you get older it's nice once in awhile. They could spend a few days out there and be safe. I love wrap around porches. My sister trailer they added a big living room to the front of trailer and what was living room became a bedroom. But there all different ways to make it work. I have seen two trailers put together. Beautiful home. Y'all going to love the country life.
With adding. That. Mud room build it larger that way add large pantry for storage for pantry, paper goods. , maybe a second freezer too. That way you don't loose space in your master bathroom. If you plan to build mud room off back Of trailer. Go large in building on..carefull tearing out walls, you may weakin ceiling and struts. Another idea think about buying a large storage shed 12x20 size convert it to a school classroom away from home. Some storage shed sales have repo ones for sale. You would love it by having everything with school in one area. N good luck im so happy for all of you. God Bless
How about put the 4 older girls in the 2 rooms with jack&jill bathroom so they will have more privacy (2 per room instead of 4)? The 5th bedroom can be the boy's room (just install double bunk) or put the smaller boys there and create a separation in the 2nd living room for 1 son, the other half will be the homeschool room. In that way, you can minimize the work needed.
Showers are better than tubs and easier to clean!! ❤ Tip...if you dry it out after every shower you will not have to clean it!! 😊
The front deck will be an awesome addition.
Your side door will be perfect for a attached garage and mud room!!😊❤
The ideas you shared about combining the two bedrooms to make one big room for all four boys and then using that space in the master bath for a pantry are BRILLIANT! This is going to be such a nice space for your sweet family!

I have a suggestion! What if you pu the washer and dryer and freezer over where you were going to make the pantry. And make where the washer dryer freezer are supposed to one big pantry on that wall. Near the door.make a space for coats and boots. Just an idea. Excited for you family!! Congratulations.

Also, I love so many of your ideas to change up the house, and of course you should do what’s best for your family, but it seems like it might be nice to have a big boys room and a little boys room. It would save a pretty significant reno if you went that way!

Wow! Love it! You will totally be able to make all the changes you want little by little too. The views out of every window, especially the master and kitchen are beautiful. The pantry idea seems smart, doesn't look like it'll effect your master bath much at all either. So happy for ya's❤

We live in a 2200 square ft house and we put our pantry in the laundry room. My hubby built floating shelves for our pantry storage and it's perfect for pur large family. The laundry room/pantry is off the kitchen and has a door that leads to thr backyard.

You could put the home school stuff off the girls room and still make a larger closet- boys could be busted up between the Jack and Jill or swap little and big girls between Jack and Jill and boys in the second living room

Yes as time goes by and house settles then get it jacked up even again the walls can be done but trailer homes always settle unless your putting it on a very good concrete foundation that the company can recommend! But you will enjoy your land and new home!!! Fun to see!

Im so glad you decided to buy new home, not used. I know you will be happier. Looks so good.I would do front porch and mud room and shelves where you need, other than that i would not get strung out. You've been through some stress, so just enjoy this new home. Its beautiful.
We recently purchased our 5br 3 bth double wide & we also didn’t get to walk the floor plan. . . It was scary buying a house & not getting an actual fill for it lol. We got the triumph model, the manufacturer won’t let you change anything on the inside of it either. We’ve done a few updates already. It’s nice to have so much space as our previous home was 3br 2bth. Thanks for sharing😊

I think you can get 5 barstools around the island, 3 along the long side and another 2 on the one end. Also make sure you double up on the hanging shelves in you're closets (high & low stacked) if you have space past the door openings (the ends) that's a great place to add shelves when baskets instead of having dressers taking up floor space in the room.
Congratulations! Look for pull out drawers for your cabinets . They are huge and hold more than if you left the bottom cabinet the way they are. Also we took out our window in the kitchen and made a tall pantry
