  • I knew she was rough underneath.... but we can still save her -This is the fun part for me, it's a typical Canadian vehicle and solid where it counts. The perimeter frame was toast so I ended up replacing the entire thing, and fixing the door frame. This is a longer video -grab a bite to eat :)

That was really rough, it’s surprising that the walls were supported at all, good work

Good job - every MotorHome I’ve rented or owned has the batteries under the steps as it’s easy to service/maintain .

Not too long a video and good content. Snow isn't really a problem here in Queensland
    Australia .

This thing kicks ass! I've been living in a '76 Sportscoach since 2006. My baby's 454 still runs great. The aluminum frame has saved it's ass! Everything but the fridge and roof AC still works.

Too Long??? No I really appreciate your thinking process and explanations. There are so many videos that don't do this which ends up like cheap version of Gas Monkey video. I have a 1979 Sportcoach which I got for free. it is 33ft long and the side panels damaged. I took off the panels to reveal the interior insulations with 3 mm plywood sheets perished by water ingress. The question do i keep the original exterior wall clad or get new side panels. I have the same type trapezium windows you have. Its a 454 block on a M500 chassis i was told. Im in the UK but will keep following you. Keep up the great work and look forward to your next vid

in mine the side panels seem to be all foam and hold up the top beams, maybe you could change the supporting structures then replace the side panels with plastic or aluminum? Send me some pics I'm curious to see

We should have tested the old gas, with the price of it now it's liquid gold.

Yes sir, people in the south have no idea what we have to do just to get them to a point where we can start to customize them. I remember watching a Boyd episode where they sent a 57 Chevy to the yard because they didn't want to fix a hole in the floor
