  • Season four of “Outlander” continues the story of time-traveling 20th-century doctor Claire Fraser and her 18th century Highlander husband Jamie Fraser as they try to make a home for themselves in colonial America. We find the Frasers in North Carolina, in a place called Fraser’s Ridge at yet another turning point in history - the cusp of the American Revolution. Sam Heughan, Sophie Skelton and Richard Rankin stopped by to talk about the return of the hit STARZ series.

Richard's Roger was incredible in season 4, He goes from Oxford History professor to cross an ocean, have one fabulous night with Brianna, then have to be sold to the Mohawks. His transition was fabulous and wonderful to watch.

A little FYI to everyone out there: the word Y’all actually comes from Scottish slang and the reason you mostly hear it in the south is because the south was mostly settled by Scottish people.

This interviewer is an absolute all-star. She did a fantastic job keeping the interview flowing and intelligent AND asked no embarrassing "Y'all sooo hawt" questions.

What a great interview. The interviewer was prepared and smooth in her delivery. The fans were amazing - some of the best questions I've heard in an interview. Not one single sex scene question or "what's under your kilt?" So refreshing! I believe this set the actors at ease and we got to see more of their personalities and their innate intelligence - no one treated Sam like beefcake in a skirt. Mutual respect all around! Excellent!

What a lovely interviewer! She kept it going and didn't give me secondhand embarrassment. She had great questions and tried to get spoilers but not too much. The cast as always is great. I loved that Sophie got more 'spotlight' and we got to know more of her and her character.

I love how they all feel comfortable enough to take the piss out of each other. I also love how "fatherly" Sam is to the two youngins.

Sophie is extremely bright and insightful. I don't think she gets enough credit for that.

Interviewer is the best I have seen. Intelligent questions and she listens to the response. We have read the books how can there be spoilers??

Love the interviewer!! She's so easy to talk to & ask questions that are not stupid & common like "sex scenes etc.. she just talks to you like a friend which is why I think the actors tend to talk more with her & give good answers

This is the first time I have seen an interview of some of the Outlander casting. I am suprised that Richard Rankin has a thicker Scottish accent than Sam Heughan in real life!

I can’t wait until next season when they can really discuss some of the things they had to skirt around here. Especially Richard who’s always just sort of sitting there with not much to say (not the interviewer’s fault though, she had to avoid a lot to not spoil things and did try to include him). Part of me wishes I hadn’t read the books yet because it’s so frustrating to have to leave so much in the dark when they do press.
