- Paul Reiser admitted to Ellen he didn’t remember her guest role on the original “Mad About You” series, and Ellen confessed she didn’t recall filming it either. The stars chatted about the new reboot and why it was a perfect time to bring the sitcom back, 20 years after the series finale originally aired.

I totally agree. He was so funny- I just love his physical comedy and comedic timing. Plus, he was also really good at the serious stuff. The characters went through some tough stuff a few times on this show and the acting of both of them has always impressed me in those dramatic scenes
I just binge watched all of them. Their chemistry is still spot on. Loved it. Can't wait for more. Love them.

I forgot “Mad About You” even existed until I saw this! That show was the quintessential 90s sitcom.
Great show! And Paul Reiser has some very entertaining books from that same time.

@@MCross-xg9ss Yes! "Couplehood" and "Babyhood" in the 90's, and then "Familyhood" which came out later. I'll have to root around for that last book in the bookstore. He must be an absolute JOY to be around! Funny, astute, lovable guy!

Grew up watching this show, mostly because my Mum loved it, but I ended up loving it too. Kinda makes me feel happy to see these people again and cannot wait to see these episodes!
I loved Mad About You. Pre Friends domination but a really fun and adult type sitcom.

This show is like a tonic for me. I am great fan of Ellen. This show has greatly changed my life as well because my English has been improved a lot just because of this show. Now it has been a part of my life. I wish I could have the mail number of her!

So what I take away from this is that we should be expecting a friends reboot/reunion in 2024 😍 ... That's 20 years from when it ended.

I have seen the 6 episodes 6 times! I am a little older than Jamie/Helen and some of the things I so relate to. Like not being able to hear someone unless they are looking at you or the horrible woes of Menopausal days! I laughed and laughed. I miss the chararcter Fran. I hope there are many more episodes after the 6 in Dec! Thanks for deciding to do this again Paul and Helen! I love watching Mad About You! You all look great!
I like when a good show is revived! I know this one will be good, Paul and Helen did a great job before, their comedic vibe is in every scene.. It was nice to see Ellen's clip, with so many guest it could be hard to remember everyone that was on.. The baby liked her too.

Yes, she was so funny here. I believe they put Ursula in "Friends" as a way to put Lisa Kudrow on "Friends" with out problem of the 2 caracthers at the same time on tv.

My main memory from from Mad About You. Murray runs into another room and you hear a "THUMP". So ridiculous but so funny,
Ger Or when Paul and Jamie walk in and Murray was standing on the dining room table... Paul says, “This is new!” 😂😂

Just started watching on rewind tv and fell in love with the pilot. Even with "minimal" internet then, TV was so competitive. I would only tune in for Seinfeld and Friends not knowing this is tied into the both of them! Writers are awesome lol.

Great to see Helen and Paul together again as there is no way I'm getting Spectrum, Wouldn't expect 500,000 viewers tops. Maybe Spectrum will be satisfied with that and allow a second season and maybe I'll see it someday. Helen must have been a great Password player if she was ever on it.
