WTG Deb, you are doing a fantastic job of showing the boys the amazing variety of John’s and the range of genres he can sing, and how good his band and back up singers are. But … no one has ever reviewed John singing Old McDonald Had A Farm lol. Don’t think anyone’s been brave enough - yet lol 😊

You ripper Deb👍 😊. I’ve noticed I’ve heard your name often. You really are doing a fantastic job of showcasing ‘our’ John 😊. As u only too well know his huge variety of genre styles is amazing. I’ve been trying to think of any other singer who has sung such a huge variety - from nursery rhymes to opera and everything in between. If you can think of anyone, please don’t tell me, you’ll burst my happy bubble lol 😂 😂

@bernadettelanders7306 No I haven't heard anyone else that particularly has the full package of Voice, Performance, Humour, Stage Presence, loves his band, loves his audience, just pure God given talent and the right humble, generous, caring human was chosen to share his gift with the world 🌎 Love you John Farnham ❤️

The wonderfully talented Brett Garsed on guitar. I've found another one with a solo by Brett which you'll love too. It was a warm up for the band and back up singers. A lot of people have said he doesnt have to go into a studio to record - you can just record him live because theres no mistakes from any of them. 🎉❤

Imagine the cold sweats of the sound dudes who know this is coming, and how obvious it'll be if they don't have every setting just perfect.
There can't be many singers who could belt out something like this as a warmup without blowing out their vocal cords. And you're right about the band - they nailed it.

I guess John Farnham and the crew figured if they could belt this one out as a warm up, the actual concert would be easy peasy.
Fillipe...yes the greastest rock star the world is only just discovering.
and Paul yes he chose to stay close to home after the resurrection of his carreer in the late 80's because of his family. There were times earlier in his career that he tried to break into the World market but it never happened for him. ❤
But he was certainly well known amongst his peers throughout the years.

Freddy mercury held john in high regards
He supposedly put john up as he's replacement
Because thought john was that good
Many stars of the era couldn't believe john wasn't promoted
Its why many when performing in Australia 🇦🇺
Wanted to sing with him and was reason some toured here as well
John very much family man and hated being away from wife and kids
Fame came to late if earlier in his career before kids im sure things would've been different
But he didn't want to have his kids travelling the roads and wanted them to have stable home life
Also loves he country and the people so wasn't hard not to travel overseas for fame
If you look into the band and back up singers most had been in famous international bands
All loved working with john and where john could he'd change his concert's starting dates so they could tour with him
They'd also change theirs to fit with him and others as they where a tight group more like family
    Cheers guys 🦘🇦🇺👍

I requested this song. Maybe one day you will read our posts because Deb is not the only Australian here. This is often played by Americans with Robert Plants version from Led Zeppelin who they say no one can ever beat. Everyone I have watched admit John wins. This was John’s sound check and warm up song so he never changed the arrangement like he did with other famous covers. He did later go to record it on his rarities album. Are you starting to see yet why he is the Voice and why he is our living legend?
John was hurt too much early in his career to want America or anywhere else. You’re The Voice hit number 1 in England and a few other Countries. That was his first song he was allowed to sing his way at 38 and he chose to be home. Considering he started at 17 and his first song went to number 1 he didn’t deserve what happened to his career. I am tired of telling you to watch his movie, Finding The Voice. It is on here and then you will understand and know John better. You are lucky that so many of us put John out there at the start of COVID or you wouldn’t know his voice and we don’t stop.

Hi Karen. I've actually started putting together a series on Sadie to educate the boys and I'm including some of his other earlier music. This has become therapy for me and I really enjoy how Paul and Fellipe react to our boys. Aussie Aussie Aussie OI OI OI Love Deb❤🎉

Hi Karen! Sorry about that, I try to read as many comments as I can, members (such as Deb) have a separate notification, that's why I see her comments more often. CZcams offers "priority replies to comments" as a members' perk and shows me comments separately.
Now, I did suspect there would be more Australians in Australia other than Deb, 😂, thanks for confirming my theory! 😂
I see why he's a legend, the voice! And are you saying he got popular on youtube during covid? Thanks for the comment!

    • @karenstrong8887
      @karenstrong8887 Před 4 měsíci +1

@@TeacherPaulReacts, no, not popular. He was already the best. The world has learned to know who he is is especially America and they are sorry it took so long and they will never see him on stage. Many have a John playlist now they listen to everyday because they are true fans. It became a mission before John got cancer to show the world what they missed.
I last saw him sing at 71 with Celine Dion and his voice was the same. It was funny because she was singing his biggest hit and John got pushed out to sing the last half with her. She has always said she is his number one fan and he is humble. He gets emotional when famous people know him, he doesn’t know he is up there. They both went all fan on stage but all of the famous people know him and love who he is.
Richard Marx named him the best voice anywhere alive today and he is famous. During John’s career Richard would come from America and just appear on stage to play piano for a song. At John’s 50th Birthday concert it was also a music awards night in another State and I know John won many awards. Every time he won Richard would walk on stage and give it to him. The whole back wall turned in to a screen and Tom Jones appeared from his show in Vegas to sing Happy Birthday and say he was sorry he wasn’t there but he was working. So it was more getting the average person to know he is here and wonderful. Imagine if he ever had a voice lesson.
John taught me that he is no more important than anyone else on the stage or the people who put it together. That backup singers have names and we know and love them all, that his musicians have names and we know them too. Along with his best friend and manager, Glenn, all of those people and their families became Australia’s family. We were all broken when we lost Glenn to COVID. Watch the movie, you won’t be sorry and it isn’t actors it is John and the people who care about him.
As Deb said above it started as therapy when we were locked into our State for 2 years and thousands joined in because they didn’t know how much he would be loved by others who didn’t know him. Many didn’t know he wasn’t known worldwide. This is still going and if someone reacts to John many appear. I have quietly been here since I found you, I subscribed but I am disabled and cannot afford to pay. I have my favourite reactors and you two are up there because you do see who he is except when you thought he had something going on with Olivia Newton John. He had his wife’s permission to kiss Livvie once a night for the 3 month tour. She was family too and John was the last person to speak to her on the phone before she passed with her family. My husband went to school with Livvie for 2 years. He was a very young 14 year old and she wasn’t famous yet. I asked him how he felt about Livvie and his answer? I didn’t like doing dance practice with the girls but whenever I passed her she was very smiley.😂 That is my husband of 54 years in July. So we are the generation that alway knew John from the beginning.

@@AussieDebb Hi Deb, yes it started as therapy. Not Sadie, I was a young teen when that came out and I didn’t know he wasn’t allowed to sing his own songs or dress his own way. He was shy and polite but not cool to a kid my age. Kids under 12 and grandparents took that song to number one and that wasn’t the audience a 17 year old wants. At least John laughs at it now and when I was older I could see how well he sang it. Thank you.💕
