- the back of the box is different, the serial number does not exist on the fake perfume box
- the serial number on the bottle of the original perfume is identical to the serial number on the authentic box - Jak na to + styl
Thank you for your work! Bought mine off Mercari, after they clocked me for claiming a fraud transaction I had to come and revise my perfumes I bought through them make sure I didn’t get played ! 😭 this one is genuine thank God

Exactly what I said, other haven’t mastered that you can actually make a more informative video with less talking and in less time, just show the damn differences and shut up sometimes! Lol too many videos go on about things nobody cares about, mainly opinion based like “they actually did a good job on this fake box” like duh of course they did, it’s supposed to look like the real! 🙄🤷♂️😂🤣

Pound my tushy, these damn scammers. I think it goes without saying that there could be other kinds of fakes as well. Some could be closer in similarity. There's obviously some glaring problems with this fake that could easily be fixed in a new batch, like the back of the box etching and bottom of the bottle sticker.

Do geniune stores give a sample or maybe an already opened bottle just to test the perfume ?
depends… the sample must be accompanied by the company logo card…. and you can't know from sealed perfume glass… only tester glass… generally companies that give watches accompanied by cardboard… sell original perfumes
It would be so nice, and even more helpful if you could narrate what the differences are that you’re demonstrating (instead of the scary soundtrack). For instance, I can’t tell what is different about the gold tags and the bottle bottoms. What’s the difference?! They look absolutely the same. Obviously you know the difference, so please just tell us- and don’t just show us, what those differences are. It would make things much clearer. Thanks.
Yes indeed, the bottles are very identical, they differ: the lid, the emblem that is hung around the neck of the bottle, and the label on the bottom of the bottle, as well as the box
TheFujiwuji these fakes aren’t that good. On the tags/cord you mention they don’t look “absolutely the same” - you really need to look more !. The colours are different with the fake much paler, the fake cord is frayed at the end where it’s been cut not heat-sealed like the real cord & the definition of the TF stamp on the tag is much less deep & crisp than on the real version. The whole bottle isn’t as good - when the light hits it you can see the ribbing on the glass bottle is very fuzzy & not as deep or crisp as on the real bottle & the label on the bottom is all wrong. This is an ok fake, not even a very good fake so if this fooled you then you need to research more before buying anything !
@@nathanthomas5133perhaps to you, the differences are strikingly obvious... and if so, then this video isn't necessary or intended for you. I came here to get information about how to differentiate fakes from the original... not to guess, or make assumptions about which is potentially which.
TheFujiwuji then I think you need to watch a better video as this isn’t the one if you don’t know anything about how to differentiate between real & fake. Just assume that Anything you buy online that’s at a ‘too go to be true’ price is a fake because 99% of the time it will be. Some fakes are much better than these & some fakes use real TF components (why do you think people buy & sell empty TF bottles & boxes on eBay etc - so they can refill genuine bottles with crap & use real boxes to make them look real).
@@nathanthomas5133 I came here because the video title says "Fake vs. Real Tom Ford"... and with such a title I was expecting to get a clear explanation of what is different about each... so I can see if I got scammed with a bottle I bought online. If I already knew and understood the differences between the Real vs. Fake I would not have sought out and turned on the video in the first place.
Is the batch code on the authentic real black orchid on the sticker or stamped in the glass?
it's not just stamped on the sticker… don't go after the serial number anyone can engrave on the bottle or box… that doesn't make it original… other are the safety elements of a perfume… the weight of the bottle… the weight of the lid… the logo must be perfect, no extra material, wipes… and pay close attention to the medallion on the neck of the bottle… the logo must be perfect

On bottom of my bottle the information on the plastic label is identical to fake except the writing is gold like the real one.
Mine says Made In USA whereas the real one says Made In Switzerland.
The fragrance is identical to the real one. They did a really good job with this.

The fake one was bad. Not only was the gold plaque horribly placed but they spelled Tom Ford as Tomm Ford not only on the box but on the bottle😳 Tomm Ford 🤣😂😆🤣😂

The internet is full of people selling & buying empty Tom Ford bottles (which they refill with rubbish) , and empty Tom Ford boxes which they use to make their fake product look authentic - so even if your box/bottle looks identical to a real bottle there’s no guarantee that what’s inside the bottle is real. Look on eBay etc for Tom ford empty box / bottle & there are loads being bought & sold and re-used to con people.

Wow these fakes are getting too good. Makes me so mad. You wouldn't happen to have Noir Pour Femme to compare would you? I came across an very discounted full bottle, which looks good in the pics except that the words Tom Ford have no space between them, they run together like one work on the front of the bottle. It is a tester bottle, which has a sticker on the back, so no box to look at.

serial number ... color and style may vary depending on the year .... the important thing is the tin label that says TF on the neck of the bottle... check carefully that there are no smears or extra material... everything must be perfect... this perfume is in second place in the world... the most counterfeited perfume on the market

You do us dirty with no smell test lol and fake fragrances will not kill you bro don’t be so afraid to spray them in fact like you found out with Dior Sauvage they actually do a great job with the scent, we don’t wear the bottles and boxes out so if the fragrance smells like the original it’s good to know 😉👍❤️
No. Very many aroma chemicals are very toxic and cancerous. Real fragrances will use safe ingredients, fake ones will not.

Costul productiei unui parfum este de 7 euro... Orcum tom ford, chanel, hermes au proliile lor fabrici.. Restu parfumurilor sunt produse de unilevar... Am observat ca la anumite parfumuri scoase de aceasta firma unilevar recente 2020 de exemplu seamana cu leit cu un alt parfum scos in 2016... Este o batatie de joc cu anumite parfumuri ex versace dylan blue pentru femei seamana izbitor cu versace eros pour femme
