Id take this over a normal used car anyday!
I had a 1970 Monaco for a winter beater. Almost identical 4-door as this car, except the taillights were a bit cleaner and the '70 Monaco has really cool reverse lights mounted up in the corners above the bumper. Mine had a 383 2-bbl but that thing still had some serious snort. I also had Keystones on mine, and the exact same gold color, but mine was pretty faded. I miss that car. That car was perfect for winter; big, heavy, winter tires. I remember one time, my brother's friend had his Cadillac parked out front when a snowfall hit and he couldn't get it unstuck. My cousin tried hooking him up to his Suzuki Sidekick, and both of them just had their wheels spinning. I hooked the Sidekick up to my Monaco, put it in gear and slowly pulled the both of them out of the small snowdrift.
This is another of those cars that back in 1971 when I was 11 I wouldn’t have looked twice at. My grandfathers car. Man is it beautiful today and in great shape. This is one of the few cars on your lot where I think the price may be a bit low. Thanks for another great video.
Damn… A 383. My grandma had a ‘71 Polars with a 360 and that thing FLEW!! It was a blast to drive. ☺️
Got a little of the original" Walking Tall "movie vibe going on . I'd could see Sheriff Buford Pusser driving that mopar. I'd could see me driving it .
I see you're plagued with stupidity. He's another out of touch dinosaur elite, just like biden.
Underrated Mopar. Very smooth styling for its time.
A completely unburstable powertrain from all aspects.
Some criticize it, but I like the classic 04 doors, I think they look like mafia cars 😁 🇧🇷🇺🇸 but a beautiful classic Nick
Always love the old big cars. These are the cars I grew up with
Same here Mike!
Someone did an outstanding job doing the exhaust pipe work!! What an absolutely gorgeous, perfectly mirrored installation!
Well done Mr Exhaust guy!!!
Damn right! Almost a shame it's underneath!
This car is one of the best ones in a while.
The stance is right.
It’s in great overall condition
The price is right 👍
You could easily daily this car and take it to a show and shine on the weekends
And the horn works??
BOOM she’s gonna sell!
Sweet ride, sounds good 👍 Nick this old classic won't last 🔥
Sounds straight piped. Just from the gurgle of those duals
Cool ride! I had a 67' Chrysler Newport with the 383 and it would haul. Gotta love Maple Motors!
Just last week, I watched a vintage dealer training film comparing this car against a Chevy Caprice and a Ford LTD. The Polara looked so much cooler with that stout front end and more. Always loved the styling of the late 60s early 70s mopars.
No kidding. The Caprice and LTD were among the fugliest, boxiest, least imaginative designs ever.
Even the big sedans back then are freaking cool 🤘🏻
I like this old cruiser ❤😂
Old Polara, for I have not seen one of this in a long time. For she has a lot good style and nice to be your next old lady. For she is nice all the around and well worth the price. Love seeing this car and that is no lie.
60,s and 70,s cars 🚗♥ were something else in a good way miss them days
My heart skipped a beat when this popped up. Then I saw SOLD, 1 year ago
My first car was a 71 Polara just like this. 383 4 door Custom, power brakes, A/C, red with a black vinyl top.
I had one these back in 1980 mine was a X undercover CHP car with a 440 CI and was dark blue was a very nice car and man was it fast and did great burnouts.
What clean 71 Monaco looks good as a 4door luv the gold dust exterior for under $14k someone getting alot car with stole price tag.
For only $12,900 you get that beauty just Wow!
That will make someone a GREAT cruiser!!!!! 👍👍
I remember my mother buying a brand new one in 1969 off the showroom floor. She did this because my dad’s that are in a car that he was fixing up and it broke down on the road and so she told the dealer I want this car and she bought it so on the way to Florida for winter vacation and we got over by Mount Eagle. Engine blew up I did was really mad Cuz Call Ford family I don’t my mom will get back to Michigan. We’re buying a Ford brought a goddamn Dodge, but it happens to all manufactures. Hers is blue with the blue interior. That’s why I’m watching this video because a cop brought me back some memories. this is a nice looking car. Looks like it’s very honest. Looks original really clean and nice nice.👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍
Those cars were mean back then. Nice.
@maplemotors I've been looking for one like this for a While! Beautiful Mopar.
Nice old dodge very clean. Good price
That is one SWEET C-body Mopar, hell, I'm tryin' to get my '72 Plymouth Fury III unmarked Police Pursuit Car to look Beautiful like that!!! Great Job, Guys!!! Mopar Nate Philadelphia, Pennsylvania
The wheels made a difference in the look the car you can tell someone took care of it except for the few places on the paint
My first car.
Passed drivers test in one.
I have not heard of a Dodge Polara before. Nice seeing something different.
Like a Dodge Charger without the big price tag.
Nice Polara, I like the color and the wheels and wow a 383!! Thanks for the ride Nick!!
I had good times back in the day in a Dodge Polara! No can do in a Prius! I would`nt know! Dang I`m single again. Bring back the chick magnet! "Lay on the hood with her and gaze at the stars for awhile, man oh man!" I`ll better copy right that quick! lol
Dad & Mom had a 2dr metalic charcoal grey 70 only a 318, but new as a 6yo kid run great till 77 when sold.
Just advance the timing a degree or two, and maybe adjust the carb for a slightly bigger accelerator pump shot. That should clear up that very slight stumble. It sounds like it has a cam similar to a hemi grind, definitely more duration than stock. This thing needs little to nothing except a bunch of miles of cruising. Nothing wrong with manual brakes. Amazingly rust free for a Mopar. This will make someone a fine hotrod for a long time. I'd buy it if I wasn't 38k deep in my 64 Galaxie fastback.
Super sweet Polara❤
I just fell in love with this car. Sold my car and I'm car-less and need a car. I want this Dodge Polara. Nick help me out
I like this just like that 4-door 1970 Chevelle y'all had.
I'm going to Maple Motors for my next platform to build. I don't have the time to start from a total p.o.s rustbucket. Or if I find one nice enough...I'll just buy it and leave it be.
Nice car sounds good to
😊, you don't see these things anymore
This would be my daily driver .
This is my kind of car!!! Unfortunately I am out of garage space. I had a Satellite the same color. Beautiful ride.
I absolutely love this one!!!! Dad had several quad cabs with the big blocks and , I in my naiveness couldn't understand. Passed on shit tons of them.
I love 4 doors, this is one sweet ride 🤩!!!
It really is!
This Dodge would make a
Great midnite shine hauler up and down the Interstate for sure !!
Sniper EFI and power breaks. This car is awesome!
Nice to see it still has the original steering wheel and not some stupid Grant wheel
Always love these Mopar the best sounding engines I ve ever heard fantastic road cars unlimited performance great choice.
Classic.
Lovely big bus👍
Beautiful car Nick!! Love it more if it were a 2 door.
love right wheel in trunk fifth wheel that option cost alittle factory jack cost also
Love that car!
LOVE the 69-73 Fuselage Mopars! BADASS!!! 🤘😎🤘
Had a 69 Polara ....383....same color...4 door..everything...that baby could move with the 383!!!!❤❤
Old skool kewl
Man I love this car been waiting to see this one any Monaco’s around hell I rather take this one
Nice price!
My 1st car was. 1970 coupe. 318, got like 22 mpg on the highway on fishing trips.
That choppy idol had me scratching my head wondering if it was electrical or lean. I'm thinking play with the mixture screws and it may clear that up And I definitely must add It is a very cool car. I'm a station wagon and 4 door car guy now that I am older with a dog et cetera I forgot to mention, here in northern California that exhaust system would be at minimum 5 or $600. Somebody did a really really nice job on those pipes
Sweet crew cab Nick!! the exhaust on almost every car you video sounds great!! Do you use an external mic??
Good Money & Worth It !
nice car think of al the cop movies /shows with these 383cu v8 sweet sound
Mopar at Maple Motors!
You can't expect a 52 year old car to be in perfect condition.
Nick is that one of your songs at the intro? I love that sound it reminds me off Alter Bridge, like I said before very sorry about the negative comments about your music before I probably just need to hear more of your songs i love rock
Yes it is , I have a ton of different styles I’ve done over the years.

Still poplar she is a beast cause she last longer than all her sisters these cars had a low rate of accident while the other ones crash in junkyard and collect buyers when does any one see a polara going for million dollars or anyone else collect these cars
Good looking mopar I’ll take that 4 Dr any day over a elec veh it still be running when your replacing your 1200k lithium batt on your ev 😅😅 thanks maple motors I know we’re in taking my vacation follow me to Tennessee
Nice
A nice rare one here!! May I make a suggestion? Place a camera near floor so we can see your foot on the brake and gas so we can see exactly what you mean when you say kick down and hit it but nothing happens or we can see what you mean when you say the brakes are definitely manual brakes.
A "kickdown" is a cable that runs from your transmission to the carb. Once you're driving and you accelerate hard, the carb throttle pulls the transmission kick down cable to the next lower gear(passing gear). It's the same as "down shifting".
When " nothing happens " its because the cable isn't attached! 😉
Hey Nick.....beautiful car! Had a 2 door I regret selling. Just curious if still available and if so, what to do estimate the delivery charges would be to Toronto, Canada? Thanks
The original soccer Mom van complete with Keystone Klassics
Sounds great. Too many doors.
Well said i AM a mecahnic and I love cars there is nothing like a american muslce car 🤟 😊 😊 😊
The time you get one in i can't afford it😢😢
l wet sanded one just like it old patrol car that one was 440 two tone paint single stage paint hard to work with you remember things you under price headliner also alot of four letter words used i have settled down dont get bent out of shape on small stuff things like that just made me better at it
Love that car rather have four door anyway
Please, does anyone can tell me what is the name and the reference of these wheel rims
Thank you,
Best regards
I hope for your feedback.
I'm not that mad at my money 🤑
Hey NICK
You must be paying retail on these cars.. $12500 is crazy , its only worth $8500 tops.. Love the cars but that much over is NUTS
Market is up , we sell them as fast as we can get them. Thanks
she has the mighty 727/TF8 transmission underneath..................
I gotta turn this video off before I buy it
The polara was a outcast and forgotten car cause her sisters charger Challenger satellite the road runner the GTX and cornet were more popular than polara know first it came out with the factory 318 before the Mopar engine put in two barrels carb was the 318 engine for the polara till the 383 and the 440 was put in
Especially the baby sister dodge Monaco
😎 " we're on a mission from God 😎
In before all the boomers chime in with "But Its a 4 door, waaaah!". 😭👈
Love these cars!
crew cab!!
That’s at least a 5 body trunk
your cars very slick think might fire up come buy a car if thars ok cash only

No wonder the CHP boys loved these.
Why this so cheap ? This can be much higher price.... This will be sold quickly if not already.
Nice car . To many doors however.

I've always like Mop[ar styling even today I think they put out a great looking vehicle. Not a fan of their engines but partial to their styling
Thats nice !
