Pulled out and off with an owner to be restored.
Been in the same spot for around 30 years and still turned over and has compression, couldn't find neutral and the clutch isn't releasing, the tyres did take some air!!
BSA 350 engine for those who are wondering.
It's a BSA C15 250cc grass track bike - not a speedway bike. I think the Michael Lee claim is a bit spurious. I'm pretty sure he went straight into speedway and this machine is too early for his era. The C15 was a budget option for grass track riders in the early 1970s. As for it being Lee's longtrack winning bike - it's definitely not. I think he rode Weslake and it would have been a much more sophisticated machine. This has a braked front wheel, too. Longtrack bikes were unbraked.

I only know what I have been told. I had never knowingly known if Micheal Lee, i barely know speedway.
From what I understand it was pre Lee being known, so definitely not a championship winning bike. It has been altered since Lee owned it, completely different engine and gearbox with the home made mounts to show it.
Thirty years ago a mate of a mate asked to put it in the garage as he was moving etc, it had been there since and they had lost touch. My mate got back in touch about it and the guy came and picked it up.
He got it 30 odd years back with the Micheal Lee story attached to it.
@@marcuscoquer5958 sorry, I didn’t mean to doubt your word, and I accept you’re only relaying what you’ve been told; just that the story doesn’t really tally with Lee’s beginnings in speedway. Before speedway I don’t think he rode grass track. He was a sensation from the age of 15-16 and was pretty much a pro speedway rider from then on. I think he did some schoolboy class Moto-Cross before that though.

It`s a grasstrack bike, not a speedway bike, Rear shocks and gear shift are give aways.
I wonder if that is Michael Lee's Long Track Championship winning bike? Sad to see it in such a state whatever. :(
